Liking Potters Charm. Where do the majority think he'll end up if he's Fez quality?
On my pre season shortlist for the AB. Already hit a 138 RPR and 139 OR. 119 RPR in bumpers is where you want to be historically for the AB. Like the breeding for stamina purposes and races like a 3 miler.
Not sure he'll have enough speed to beat Valgrand tomorrow though. Valgrand will probably get an easy time in front I'd imagine and be able to ensure it's a test of speed at the end from an advantageous position. Potters Charm isn't short of speed though.

Do you think Valgrand is in it to win it? And do you think he'll get 2m5? I had a feeling he might be getting a run over a distance that doesn't suit with an eye to the County.

It's an easier 2m5 though, with him being the only likely pace angle as well. He's won over 2m3.5f already.
If they're going for the County, I'm sure Dan had some very harsh words with Harry after his ride last time.
Nice £31k to the winner tomorrow. He'd have to win the County to better that and I'm sure Dan will be trying to get as much prize money as possible in the bank before the Spring and Willie makes his charge.
If Valgrand runs to his previous performance and Potters Charm can beat him, I'll be impressed. I don't necessarily think he needs to win tomorrow to be a viable candidate for the AB in March.

Fair points. I really like and would fancy him against Potters Charm if he’s put into the race. I thought his seasonal debut was seriously impressive and I’d bet him for the Supreme @33s on the back of it. I’ve cashed this now given the 2m5 dec. I suppose the good ground is in his favour too.
