If he thinks he’s good enough??
Anyway, absolutely no need to go to Ireland, there’s grade 1’s here.
To call them G1's is a joke.
I'm thinking Lossiemouth will prep at Cheltenham again in the International. Let's see if Nicky chances CH against her. Would love to see it but we all know he'll not risk it. Just his way.
1st place prize money for the Irish Champion Hurdle is worth nearly as much as the Fighting 5th and Xmas hurdles added together. Get him over there Nicky and show everyone how good he is. Let's get it back to those wonderful races back in the 80's. The Sea Pigeons v Monksfield v Night Nurse v Birds Nest . Everybody took everyone on . The results were different a lot of the time but the racing was incredible to watch. Boring as fcuk now.

Joke or not, they are Grade 1’s, and the best British horse should be in them imo.
CH won’t run in the international, it’s not a Grade 1.
Why are you having a pop at Hendo?
Its Mullins that has said we won’t take on CH until March!!

We already know how good he is.
Well actually we don’t cos he’s not had anything to stretch him yet!! but taking on a horse that he’s already thrashed wont tell us much anyway, as currently that horse is the highest rated hurdler in Ireland

Not having a pop. The Irish simply don't need to come over as they have the quality and competition and more valuable races right on their doorstep. CH doesn't and needs to be tested more imo to bring out the best in him. We all want to see the best more and taking on the best more.

It'll tell us that he's back to his best but more importantly it'll give the public the races that they want/deserve to see. Too many of these good horses are wrapped in cotton wool. I do think that's half the problem with the injuries they pick up and getting sick more often. In the 80's they ran them every month and they were battle hardened sods. Bunch of pussies now.

Hendo has his campaign planned out
The three Grade 1’s in Britain
Maybe Punchestown May follow , but absolutely no chance of the DRF happening.
We all know that.
Whether us in the public like it or not.

I do see your point and I too get frustrated at times.
Best I’ve learnt to accept it.
Different game now.
To be honest, personally I would rather wait for the Olympics in March to find out if he’s back to his best.

This is part of the problem. Grade 1 horses shouldn't be allowed to run in grade 2s when there are plenty of grade 1 options. Bin off conditions grade 2s/3s/listed races and make them all limited handicaps or that you can't have won at a higher level on the last 12 months for example. Or get rid altogether if there's no place for them
