We've all been doing this long enough to not be too concerned as much about the lead up to the festival. Yes, it would be a relief, should he go and win, but I'm not sure him or anything else on show today is imperative of someone having a good or bad festival! I could be wrong of course? And this is probably dependent on how each individual approaches the festival.
The festival is the nail biting point for me, but even then, Ive usually got myself in to an OK position at least, with the exception of last season where it ended up going down to the wire! Thankfully Better Days Ahead done the business that day!

Isn’t there a stat that a Lawlors winner has never won the Bartlett?
Obviously he's had Ginto & Death Duty go Bartlett and who could forget Envoi Allen winning the Lawlors then hosing up in the Ballymore!
