    Couldn’t resist haha!

El Fabs Jumping is poor regardless what anyone says, he hits so many fences being so low over them. He’s a beast but jumping is the name of the game and it’s bound to take its toll.

Nico is the difference for Jonbon 100%.
    Yep, Nico the key
    That was very enjoyable!!

Well he just about got to Edward, but nowhere near Jonbon
Cant jump like that and be a top 2m chaser, needs to improve his jumping

Willie will definitely be wanting the turners to stay, I'd say it's the best race for both but would expect they'd be split even if the turners stays.

They are miles clear of the rest of the horses going novice chasing

Both could win any of the 3 main novice chases I'd say

            Just depends how they jump

If one of them jumps accurate and fast the arkle for that one and the turners for the other.

If only it were that simple FF. IEP needs the Turners to hang around in it's current form . It's the only race for him at the Fez imo. As for Ballyburn, he'd win any of the Novice Chases..............if he goes chasing that is !

              • I don't know why you're all so convinced the turners will go

Can see them making minor tweaks to the festival not drastic changes

I'm not sure how you can fill deduce that IEP is miles clear of Slade Steel.

Slade Steel was very impressive in the Supreme, a form line that has been backed up while IEP beat a 151 horse by a length 2 races ago and the same horse by 2 lengths this week.

If we were all being truthful we know neither is a genuine superstar based on how far and easily Ballyburn and Stateman has beaten them. But beating langer Dan twice by a combined margin of less than 3 lengths will mean I will need a bit of convincing before I decide the novice chases go through IEP before anyone else.

Aye, unless someone has word it's going, I think it'd be a mistake to be betting around the assumption that the Turners won't exist as a Grade 1 next season.

I don’t think connections of both horses will react that strongly to end of season form.
Jonbon can obviously go either distance and imo will be campaigned with Ryanair in mind for the festival but that could change depending on how he’s doing and opportunities that may arise over 2m.It’s also possible he may even be thought of as a King George horse , although personally I don’t see it happening.
El Fab imo will be campaigned with the QM in mind.
I don’t see his jumping being any different over any other distance. He’s shown he’s capable on his day.

Langer dan proved yesterday that he's not a 151 horse and that his new rating of 160 is accurate by beating a group of 148-155 horses easily

Iv backed Slade steel and would consider him the 3rd cab off the rank but his form is still some way below impaire and ballyburn

                        • ….looks like Mystical Power a best 12-1 Ark after that win, 33-1 Turners, 16-1 CH. Post-race comments will be of interest.

                          • Mystical power staying over hurdles, I imagine that would see ballyburn over fences now. They already have MP SM and Lossiemouth for champion hurdle.

                            • When asked if Mystical Power would have a Champion Hurdle campaign next season, he added: “There is a lot of thinking to do between now and then but you’d certainly have to look at that. I don’t think he’ll go novice chasing, as he looks more of a hurdler than a chaser.

“He could easily step up in trip watching that performance today. Mark said he found it tough with the amount of speed that was in the early part of the race.

“It looked a real staying race there today, which would mean that he’s a two-and-a-half-mile hurdler and they are the sort of horses you probably need to win a Champion Hurdle, so maybe it’s all pointing in that direction.”
