14s NRNB with 365 a must
Believe it when I see it, but I suspect the Donnelly's will want to keep him back for next season.

He'll be a novice next season unless he wins the Triumph, and if he wins the Triumph I don't think they'll be disappointed?
it is NRNB as well so you weren't really making a point

If beaten next Friday what would they do with Salvator Mundi ?
Lock him away for a novice campaign next season or go for a Punchestown/Aintree pot ?
If they've looked after him until now it suggests they want a 24/25 novice to work with, the noise around his Triumph participation might be just that, noise, perhaps intending to get the competition thinking about their plans....

I think they'll let him take his chance in the Triumph myself. I think there are other examples but I don't care enough to check

We had our Preview Evening at Towcester Racecourse yesterday. Daryl Carter, Jaime Wren, Dave Young, and Myself. I know there were some members on here in the audience and it was great to meet them, and we really appreciate the support. We also made a nice sum for the retired greyhound charity, and thanks to everyone who contributed. Whether that be donation of prizes or monetary donations.
Unfortunately we had an issue with the live recording which we had intended to put out today, so I'm trying to recapture any notes that were taken, and if I can I'll post them on here. We are now intending to do a summary of the evening and selections on Tuesday Evening on the Cheltmental YouTube channel. We need to discuss whether we put it out live or just record and put it out afterwards, so I'll update for those of you guys who might be interested. There was some really good stuff on there and plenty of debate, plus some left-field selections with some well reasoned cases made. I'd also say it would be well worth a watch/listen for the handicap selections because of some of the info behind them.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

Nicky Henderson was pretty open last night and NDB said a few useful snippets. Doddiethegreat is well handicapped, wants to run in the Coral Cup but on the cusp of the safety limit. Will go to the Pipe if he has to with him. No one asked him who would ride in the boys race unfortunately. Iberico Lord remains on a good mark but is better with cut whilst Under Control "if the ground is good she comes into this big time". Henderson said - She did get a small knock that prevented her running at Kelso and/or Nico had a spring/summer plan for her. (She's clearly thought to be on a great mark) Walking On Air "wants fences and can do some damage when he's right" . Nico's nap was Sir Gino and had zero trip worries/thought Shishkin would have won the KG as he had plenty left. Champ will wear headgear. First Street showing up well at home and now on a better mark, probably Coral Cup.Last edited by Ball Mark; 4 March 2024, 05:14 PM.
