NAP - Fact to File (BANC). Strong traveller, safe jumper, previous Festival form, won over 3m already (point).

LAY - Lossiemouth (Mares). The extra 3f probably not going to suit, several battle hardened opponents, also really fancy Gala Marceau at the distance to turn her over.

E/W - Farren Glory (Supreme). G1 form already in the book which is more than can be said for some of the principles. Will definitely get the trip well in a fast run race, currently 14s which could well go after the DRF. Can see being thereabouts on the big day.

                    Nap - Dinoblue

Lay - Nothing from me but from history, you can guarantee not all of CH, Marine Nationale, ElFab, GaelicW, GDC will be winning, although us antepost punters would like as many to win as possible as we should already be on at bigger prices on some, I not all.

EW - The only handicap bet I've placed so far is on Theatre Glory 33/1 NRNB for the Coral Cup which someone on here mentioned, possibly The Giant Bolster. I was strong on her for the race last year but she went to the mares. She's now lower in the weights and I still think there's more to come so she is potentially well handicapped imo.
I still think Hermes Allen is a very good EW price for the Turners. Hoping both him and Grey Dawning turn up for the scilly Isles first as I will be all over HA and hoping GD makes an inflated price for HA.

Not seen you on here for a while! Welcome back
Really like all 3 of those shouts ... with Lossiemouth as well, I also fancy GM to reverse and then you've got a really deep field behind that may be better than both.... she really should be a big lay

NAP - you oughta know (bumper) not often that you can get 20/1 about a horse with the best form for a race at Cheltenham at this stage, but I think you can here. Nothing has really stuck up their hand as the main player in the bumper yet, and this lads form compares well to anything at the top of the market.

Lay - gaelic warrior (Turners) - if he goes to the Turners then I think they ride him one of two ways, neither will be ideal. Either they decide to ride him how they have right handed, by making all and putting his jumping and stamina to use, in which case i think he'll dive right at every fence with nothing on his outside. Or, they tuck him up on the rail like in last year's Ballymore, in which case they are not making use of any of his best attributes, and I think he'll be susceptible to something else getting first run. Add in the fact that he may not even go here, and I think cut might be just as important to him as going right handed, especially at this trip, then I think he's an awful price.

EW - zenta (mares chase) no idea what's going on with her as there's no entries, but if she's fine and theyre sticking with chasing, then I think 50/1 is big. Firstly she's 50/1 to win a grade 2 mares chase, while two horses who finished a neck and 2.5 lengths in front of her in the triumph are the top of the betting for the grade 1 mares hurdle. Secondly there was a big reaction to her being beaten first time up over fences, but she still finished in front of hauturiere who hacked up next time, and who is less than half zentas price, and the winner silent approach ran well behind spillanes tower and blood destiny a little while ago. If she comes on for her first run anything like hauturiere did then I can see her being much improved next time and getting into the mix for this race.

Nap: Ballyburn (Ballymore) - he was superb in his maiden at Leopardstown over Christmas. The opposition was sub standard but the way he opened up put him right at the top of the novices for me. I think he'd win any of the novice hurdles at the festival - he's that good imo - but hope it's the Ballymore. Il Est Francais would be the nap if he showed up.

Lay: Gaelic Warrior (Turners) - in the perfect world he wins impressively right handed in his final race before Cheltenham. That'd probably mean he's odds on (if Il Est Francais doesn't show up). He couldn't win a handicap off 129 a couple of years ago and has only won once left handed. He hung right in the Ballymore last season and can't see how he won't be at a huge disadvantage in the Turners by hanging and jumping right.

EW: Montys Star (Brown Advisory) - it's looking like being a strong BANC this year but I think he can mix it with the best of them. He's a great bet for ew doubles and trebles imo as his target is certain (barring an injury of course).

Nap - Dinoblue Mares Chase, Bigger stronger mare this year which should see her ok over the extra half mile,Plenty clear of the rest of these imo

Lay - Mystical Power Supreme,Don’t think he hurdles fluently enough for a supreme

EW - Romeo Magico Hunters Chase,
similar profile as it’s on the line in this last year
Owner/Trainer looking to improve his profile to attract a buyer

                                Nap - CONFLATED (Cross Country)

Different class to the opposition and with a clear round surely collects another X Country for Elliot

                                Lay - JONBON (Champion Chase)

Meets a monster and his best chance of winning is to play to his opponent's strengths. Will try to put El Fabiolo's jumping under pressure. To do that he needs to jump perfectly over fences he didn't relish last year.

                                Eachway - HUNTERS YARN (Arkle)

Unconsidered and under rated but improving. Huge engine and the ability to have a say. Still offers eachway value in potentially a 5 or 6 runner field. Favourite looks strong but this horse could be anything if he avoids his customary mistake. Connections have an enviable record of improving hurdlers to be highly effective over fences. If MN made the mistake this time, Hunters Yarn is no forlorn hope for the win part of the bet.
