We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Backed Amirite only this morning Quevega and I tend to agree with you with regards to the Irish challenge in the Ultima this season, although I think it's more to do with struggling to find many decent British horses.
I haven't invested much in the Kim Muir, so will take a look at Whacker Clan

Yep, aside from Chianti, Theatre man (probably plate) Ga Law (high mark now, but 33-1 e/w suckered me in and I usually leave the really high rated)
I've no interest in anything UK based or I've read that it's not the plan for them anyway.
But I've backed 4 Irish horses.
I think the Goffer might break the UK streak this year as he'll be a little lower in the weights and has been kept for this and the national i reckon.
If you look at the Kim Muir, barely anything above Whacker Clan is set to run or will be low enough to run. Or good enough.

Chianti looks to stand out, yeah.
I was fairly keen on Kilbeg King but he now looks like he could run in the Reynoldstown at the weekend which could ruin his mark should he go well.
I was hoping for some news on Monbeg Genius, I've got him covered from a roll up, but all has gone quiet on him. I think there was a issue with his owner, but not sure if this has been resolved or not yet. Wouldn't be dead against him going to the race fresh though anyway as he had a busy and tough enough season last season, for a novice, IMO.
There are one or two not priced up yet, so I'll see if they are entered next week when entries come out.
I was going to back The Goffer yesterday but the 16's got snapped up and now 12's, I have a decision to make, though I might take the 16's ante post as Gordon has name checked the race so possibly not as much risk now

I was also mad keen on him. Article from this week says Kelso first choice:
I was hoping for a quiet entry and bigger prices off the back of it but Henry let the cat out yesterday.
Whacker Clan 16-1 Kim Muir looks reasonable value though. Was 20-1 B365 first thing but no more.
Should he get in the race off a mark of around 131 then he'd have a really good shout as it's only 6lb higher than when winning at Cheltenham on the same course back in October and he's been kept back for this race specifically. 131 is his Irish mark but was also the BHA race rating so I expect it will be on or around this mark when weights announced.
131 would be around bottom weight although the race didn't really fill last year and raggy 119 rated horses got to run. Antepost bets would be risky though.
Front runner and good jumper, and I especially liked when Twig got upsides him after the last how he dug in and won going away, I don't think 6lb will stop him running a decent race in the Kim Muir, although he will be up against better horses this time. Henry may get an amateur on with a claim like last year which would reduce the weight.
I think he might string them out a bit, and put the weaker jumpers under pressure.
In the same race back in October Amirite travelled really well but was hanging badly coming up the Hill, if Henry has sorted any issues then he is also well handicapped for the Ultima, and 25-1 isn't bad at all. Probably a Rachel or O'keefe ride in that.
The Irish look strong in this years Ultima IMO.
Amirite has been my only bet in the race. The ground went against him on the day lto and on decent Tuesday ground I think he’d be very competitive.
I reckon Faivoir might try and win the morebattle this year, he's been placed in it previously and is on a lot lower mark.
It would mean he only gets a 5lb penalty from 137 to 142 if successful.
He's as big as 25-1 for that race.
Maybe someone knows if this is planned for Skelton team or not ?
Anyone have any news on last year's Coral Cup 2nd An Epic Song?? Just the one run this season over fences when a distant 5th behind Gaelic Warrior in November . Not been seen since.
