I see Hiddenvalley Lake is entered in the Boyne Hurdle at the weekend.

Wonder, could he be one for the Coral Cup? Decent enough hurdle form, didn’t do well in the Albert Bartlett last year obviously but nothing post race just didn’t seem to run his race.

Rated 139 at the minute, with a couple lbs tax maybe he could have a big chance. Langer Dan won it off 141 last year.

Don't think he’s priced up anywhere if someone wants to make a couple requests.

He was really well thought of last year so surely he is better than a low 140 hurdler. For whatever reason just didn’t fire in the spud last year.

The thing that worries me, is that Daryl has the choice and chose to ride Matata over Ocastle. Hardly a ringing endorsement. Although I suppose it might point to Daryl riding Matata in the Arkle.

Whilst I don't like novices running in festival handicaps, the cynic in me would have been tempted to take a shot at the County. Good on them for going for the Supreme and adding some depth, albeit they might come up shy.

I like Open To Question for the Boodles, for 2021 winning trainer, Noel Meade. He runs tomorrow. He's already rated 123 in Ireland so I'm hoping he doesn't win tbh and his mark his protected. A not too close up 3rd or 4th will be fine by me.

Boosted him to 22/1 with Hills.
