I know it’s still early doors but what would peoples handicap (nap) be at this stage

Way too early for a nap but I had a keen eye on Springwell Bay for the Pertemps. However, yesterdays qualifying run looked like they might have been trying to win and he’ll now go up a couple of pounds which was unneeded.

Can happily write it off, the way they've campaigned him being a blatant non trier in his first 2 starts just screams to me they're aiming at a big handicap somewhere and as yesterday didn't go to plan he might get dropped a lb or 2 which would be nice

Got to assume he left King of kingsfield on 140 as he's not in the amended list, which probably puts absurde on around 137ish but no mark allocated yet.

Worth noting that the Irish handicapper "starts again" with the chase handicap mark whereas the UK handicapper uses the hurdles mark as a starting point.

Good time Jonny went to 147 after winning the Pertemps and finished 4th in the 3m handicap so would almost certainly have been rated the same after that performance. It will be extremely interesting to see if he gets in to the Kim Muir, but I'd be very interested if he did on that basis.

He's the one for me. B365 pushed him out to 14s nrnb after yesterday's eye catching spin and he's rightly been cut into 9/1. He's well handicapped, if the jumping holds up.

He's available at 14s with B365 with ante post rules.

Just listened to Ruby mentioned Quai de bourbon might be off to clonmel grade 2 but just spotted he's entered at Warwick on Saturday presumably hcap mark fishing, can't help but think this is a potential pipe horse?

edit, 18s available nrmb with 365, generaly 10s/12s elsewhere
