Then again, I don't think Zarak The Brave would be single figures if he was allowed in the Mares Hurdle so not sure it was that good?
Feel like I'm disagreeing with everything you've said in the last 24 hours- not personal I promise
More of an EW shout for me ….and personal pref re NRNB when I do ew
Feels like it’s Lossie if she stays ….but happy enough with my main plays against being TMSG & Marie’s
Henry brought TMSG along slowly like this last time should have won Mares when brought down …,looks like similar this time ….tho bit of heart in this tooFat Jockey Patron (est. Jan 2021)

I’m going to stick my neck out, and ready to be shot down. I just don’t think Lossiemouth will stay, looking at her style of running. I think both her stablemates will go past her on the run in.
very classy, but fizzy and free running and not a stayer in my book.
if the mares hurdle was over 2m……..unbeatable

Lot may depend on ground & how race is run.....last year it was run slowly and suited speed horses, who actually were the ones that controlled the pace (less said about other jockeys that day the better)
If its soft/heavy....quite likely on Day 1.....and they got decent pace, then i think you might be right......it will def test her
Interesting that Rachael rode TSMG forward more today.....wonder if that's with half an eye to March? As not the way that horse is known to like, but Rachael is prob the most tactically aware of current jockeys, so could be a plan
We also know Maries stays it well....so maybe Nico will rider her more for stamina this time....as might some of the other jockeys, who can't ride as badly as they did last yearFat Jockey Patron (est. Jan 2021)

Hard to compare the two but everyone was saying very similar to Constitution Hill regarding going up in trip, thinking he'd be classy enough to run over any trip, and he disappointed (by his very lofty standards) over the extra half mile. There is obviously a question mark on trip which you have to take into account, anyone saying otherwise is just wrong IMO.
Still worthy favourite though, clearly the best horse in the race. And as much as I hate to say it, I agree on them sending her to the mares hurdle.

…Marie’s Rock;
We were delighted she was able to get her head back in front there, we don’t necessarily see her as an out-and-out three-miler and that’s probably not her championship distance,” said Tom Palin of syndicate owners Middleham Park Racing.
“We will keep her to the mares’ races, but she’s not ineffective at these sorts of distances and against the opposition today she was able to take advantage of that in what looked a good opportunity to get her head back in front.
“She has been running some very creditable races in defeat, she’s a tough, game mare. She carries her head a bit awkwardly, a bit in the ‘Marie’s Rock style’ but James said when You Wear It Well came to her she wasn’t going to lay down and she toughed it out.
“It takes a very good one to go past her, I thought the writing was on the wall with that performance behind Bob Olinger – he looked resurgent, the Bob Olinger of old, and I felt we lost nothing in defeat to him.
“I was delighted that she was able to confirm her place at the Cheltenham Festival, obviously life has got a little bit harder in the last 24 hours with Lossiemouth looking like the proverbial second coming!
“We’ve booked our ticket for the mares’ race anyway and we’ll head down that route.”

I have no doubts she will stay 2m4. They didn't go fast yesterday and she wasn't keen. She can go that pace for another 3 furlongs no bother. If they go no pace, she'll destroy them coming off the bend so something is going to have to set a decent enough pace.
Not backed anything in this and doubt I will now until we see final decs.
