    • Willie says nothing has come to light so far and that she'll still take her chance at Cheltenham.

Very surprised she’s going, can’t make a case for her after last 2 runs?

ive taken to Gala, after being against her most of the season. She ran well behind ashroe despite the allowance she was giving away and being her first time out, also think a step up in trip will suit her

I’ll be playing her with the W/O Lossie market - can see her beating ashroe
FFS…. Doubted that juvenile form all damn year,
only to be stucked in and making a strong case for it

that mares div is wider than it looks

            cant be backing Lossie

            back to the drawing board

            • Wow! Listened to Mikey O’Sullivan at a preview evening and he basically said Lossiemouth won’t come of the bridle! Said he rode work on her before her last win at Cheltenham and said she’s an absolute rocket and he’d be amazed if he ever gets to ride a better mare!!

Did he sound bullish on Marine Nationale?

He's good. Came out of the race fine. No excuse for him really. Have to put a line through it - he wasn't happy, he wasn't himself but he's been fine since. He's in good form at home. If we got him to Cheltenham like he was last year, wide open Arkle now, I wouldn't be swapping him for anything else in it.

Nowhere near as bullish as when he spoke about Lossiemouth.

As Denman has quoted he drew a line through the last run but the guy to his right was trying to encourage him to go on from the front in he arkle and ride him like the best horse, personally hope he does that

                    • This is lurking on page 5 because most of us probably think Lossiemouth has already won it but...

I'm glad to see Gala Marceau at least make it. Got a shocking price but happy to get some sort of run for my money. Has beat Lossiemouth once before and seemed more likely to be suited by the step up in trip, or at least that was the thinking when placing the bet. Danny Mullins riding again is a positive that he's still got some faith in her regaining her form as well. I assume he'd have had the pick between her and Echoes In Rain.

EIR is actually one I was thinking about each way here, for the third year running. She's got some really good form in her past and should've finished much closer than she did in both previous cracks at this. Think a year without Patrick riding can't be ignored.

                      • The recent rain will have helped Love Envoi's chances no end and will probably test Lossiemouth's (as yet unproven) stamina. I think Love Envoi will finish a lot closer to Lossie this time around. At 14/1, she represents decent each way value.

                        • Willie has said that he blames himself for Gala Marceau poor show last time as he undercooked her. Clearly that wasn't her running. She's sure that be spot on Tuesday.

22/1 each way, had to go in again

Yep. She's too big ATM. Imagine she'd go off half that.

                              • Surely have to oppose Lossiemouth today

Keen goer going up in trip for the first time on very soft ground

Will need to stay 3 miles to get this trip unless they go very slow

If I'm having a good day I may lay her

Or go smaller and place lay her thinking she will either win or bomb out
