Limerick Lace a few ahead of Hauturiere who in turn is ahead of Halka.

Best I have is 20's (3 times) Jack. As a result I left alone the 40's which was an insane price.

I do think PT will ride Hauturiere so she may well go off second fav.

Jonbon v El Fabiolo in Clarence House could still have a say re Dinoblue. If one or the other gets really beaten up or doesn't come out of what could be a war very well, then Dinoblue could pick up the pieces for Willie or JP in the Champion Chase.

What prep race do we think Dinoblue will have for the Mares Chase or will she go straight there now ?

How many lengths will El Fab have to bate Jonbon for him to step up or will Nicky stick to 2m despite a trashing?

does JP have other any other darts for the Ryanair?

Not sure. She'd need at least another run maybe two before the Fez if she were going MC. Perhaps they'll just revert to hurdles again for the Mares Hurdle??

I've got her on board but she needs more chase runs as it'll be very difficult against the more experienced Mares.

I don’t think Jonbon has a chance of beating El Fabiolo at Cheltenham
However I do think he could get close to turning him over at Ascot
The track will suit Jonbon better and Willie might leave a bit to work on with El Fabiolo
Certainly didn’t have Energumene spot on for it last year

She ran Impervious to the closest she had been run too against other mares all season.

Impervious was touted not just for the Mares Chase again this season but also potentially the Ryanair.

IF Allegorie De Vassy can replicate last seasons performance it will take a good one to get close to her.

Do you actually believe one or both of these horses were severely affected by these races ?
Because if you or anyone else does , then racing is on an even slippery slope, if trainers stop racing their grade one horses against other good grade one horses in fear of ruining them, then what else do we have ?

I know it's possible and could have been a factor in their apparent decline, but I think it just bothers me when people mention this sort of thing.
