Hello Fat Jockeys,

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Harmonya Maker lost what looked like a 5 length lead at one jump because of how far she jumped left. Very odd.

If you knew this was the target, the 40/1 would look generous in my view.

Yeah was strange, when she did jump straight her jumping was smart. Attacked the last couple of fences well. Whereas Zenta looked a bit fiddly and slow. Cheltenham would certainly suit her. Wouldn't be surprised if they try her in the grade 1 novice chase at the DRF now. Probably wouldn't be good enough against the top geldings though.

      • Mullins horses ran exactly as expected by him. Zenta inexperienced and Hauturiere too short a trip. He got it spot on.

        • None of them will be featuring at the business end of the Mares Chase.
          We move on.

              I'm saving this. Remember it's over 2 1/2.

Well they're both now 40/1 shots so I'm hardly putting my neck on the line

Hauturiere will make that price look stupid IMO. Severe over reaction to an expected performance. Not sure she's ever gone 2m?
Next time over 2 1/2+ she'll put today's performance right behind her. Fabulous EW odds now.

One to assess on next entry then
Might get lucky and get 40/1 NRNB if you wait a few weeks

                      • Interesting mares novice chase today at cork.. the fancied ones all ran below what was expected
The winner isn't being considered for cheltenham by anyone?
2nd chase today and she's won well
the race has a history of cheltenham winners
                        shattered love
                        mount ida
                        impervious
all have won this race since 2017 and gone on to cheltenham success

Yeah she is but she'd still be a fair price on the day given the connections so I don't think anyone feels the need to rush.

The placed horses from today in previous editions have also factored ..... Dinoblue last year for example

I take what you say about the trip, but what run (s) even suggest she's any good? Punchestown 2m5 i suppose was decentish.

                            Average enough isn't she?

Plenty good enough based on what she's produced so far Jack with loads of improvement to come over fences.

Just 1lb below Hurdle rating of last season's Impressive winner Impervious and gained an identical RPR on her chase debut as Impervious did on hers.

Really looking forward to her next appearance.

Identical RPR to Impervious, but couldn't back it up. You'll use the trip as the reason, Impervious had the class to then run a 150rpr over a trip short of her best. Guess that's a pretty telling difference.
Windy enough race, and at 40s i can see why you'd keep faith i guess, wishing you luck!

Not often WPM's route with a mare, but if they decide in time to send her for a big 3m+ staying h'cap chase i'd be more interested.
