There's been a few comments in here about horses who were tired at the line, I doubt any trainer of the calibre of Mullins or Elliott will have their big guns 100% for a November debut/reappearance, these are the horses that will be trained to peak in Feb/March and personally I'd almost be worried if they put in a serious performance and finish full of running at this time of year.
Secondly the ground, fairly deep ground everywhere at the moment (except Cheltenham that will no doubt find a way of being 'good') so will be a test of any horses stamina.
What is it, 14 weeks to DRF and 19 weeks to Cheltenham ?

Willie isn't convinced that she'll stay either having to make a comment about her breeding suggesting she should.

Hopefully he steps her up in distance next time to test the water a bit more. Even that might not be proof though as he's sure to find an easy race for her.

My jury is still out and Id rather look elsewhere.
How can you gauge whats left in the tank on a seasonal reappearance run when we have no idea how ready they are?

Did anyone else think it looked that way?

I certainly dont! i think shes a horse who will unlock further inprovement up in distance its in her, she improved 10lbs from her cheltenham run at the end of last season, shes an exciting horse and id take her jumping soundly over ADV to be honest

Not a peep unfortunately, was half expecting her out at Naas to contest the novice chase seeing as she had good form round the course. Next port of call would be Cork in a week or so. If no entries at Cork I might start getting a little worried.

I noticed it took a good while to pull her up after the line, so someone's talking bollocks IMO

I don't care cos i've not backed her.

I thought that Paul was looking to give her an easy time on the run in and she idled a little. Once he saw that there was a challenger, he got her going again and she was extending her lead at the line. I think that she probably will stay but, at 5/1 today, I'd need to believe that she'd be shorter than 5/2 on race day to be investing this far out.

My doubts over her staying the trip would have nothing to do with yesterday, just a few times last season when she was a weak finisher, so you'd be hoping that her calmer attitude of late and natural maturing would help her see out the extra half mile strongly.

Looking like there's plenty left in the tank at the end of a 2m race, and actually finishing strongly at the end of a two and a half mile race are very different, until she actually runs over the trip and sees it out strongly there will always be a doubt for me when I have the memory of very tame finishes from her in my mind, and at her current price it's a big enough worry for me to not be too pushed about backing her, if I was on at double figure prices though I could easily convince myself she can do it no bother.

This is from Gordon Elliotts racing post stable tour

                        Halka Du Tabert
                        6m Balko - Naska
                        Kenneth Alexander
                        11337-
                        RPR 132h OR 130h

She's a right good mare and she'll go chasing. She has some really good form from last season and was a bit unlucky in the Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham.

That’s interesting. It wasn’t in the version kindly reported in here. Was there anything on Harmonya Maker? Given their proximity alphabetically, she may have been missed off too.

She's a talented mare who didn't get much luck in the second half of last season. She goes chasing and has schooled well.

Cheers Aaron. I liked her a lot last year and think 2m4 will really suit. If only she can stay upright.

Yeah she was mighty impressive that day in fairyhouse beating pink in the park, I think she prefers a bit of cut in the ground, being by saddler maker breeding would suggest it and so would her form i'd say.
I prefer the other mare halka du tabert for cheltenham, but am treading carefully with her after last season
