Plans change, and as I said earlier, if anything should happen to Allaho the race is wide open and it wouldn't take much improvement for her to be G1 level (with the allowance).
She had issues last season they have now resolved so improvement can be expected this campaign...

Don't forget they've also got the current Ryanair champion in Envoi Allen. Should he come out on Saturday and blow away the current GC second fav then that'll put another spanner in the works. No way will EA go GC.

Behind the couch viewing with Brandy love on chase debut today, but I've (maybe stupidly) not given up on her yet. Willie says shes schooled well and Paul has put her up as the one hes most looking forward to riding this weekend and thinks she will be very exciting over fences.

Her form tied in with Adv in the Solerina just sticks in my mind, I think she'd have beaten her that day if she didnt jump wildly left and I'm happy to write off last season as a real rush with her.

She's clearly got loads of ability on her day like. And I've backed her for the past two festivals. But I'm not sure there's much value in her Mares chase price to be honest. I've not gone in for a third season yet anyway.

I'd almost rather back her today at near evens than in the Mares chase at 10s. Not much opposition today is there. Although right handed has been an issue in the past hasn't it.

Paul never actually put her in the race, was a schooling session in public

Gainford won the race by kicking on

She jumped pretty straight but a bit sticky at times

She's certainly given me no reason to want to back her

yeah she was slowing into a lot of her fences losing ground at each jump, didn't look very natural at all. The winner looked to enjoy herself out in front though and jumped well enough bar the 3rd last. I'd like to see her back that up again, she looked good first time up last season but never really kicked on.
