Yeah i'm looking forward to seeing him.
Trainer would love to have 2 nice ones.

I think that if he keeps winning at 2m then he goes to the Supreme. Henderson will want that and I suspect the owner will listen to him.

Remember, Henderson has had only one runner go to the Ballymore unbeaten in the last ten years (Champ). Historically he has not stepped up unbeaten horses either to split them from others in his stable or through any belief it might lead to improved performance.

Hopefully I have the right races!!
        Think it’s a nice e/w yankee
        PP best odds I found.
I can't say that I was overly blown away by Willmount and there are doubts about his target. Brighterdaysahead is a bit short for my liking and was a touch clumsy.

Liked Stay Away Fay, thought he battled back really well and his target looks nailed on. Speaking of battling back, I thought Gerri Colombe found a way to win when I wasn't expecting although is quite short. Found a fifty won the bumper really well and has definitely thrown his hat into the ring, albeit I'm not yet convinced. Look forward to seeing him in the drinmore! Loved Iroko's debut and can see him really taking off this year but an uncertain target perhaps. West Balboa needs to improve plenty but has started well and Irish Point - will he go to Cheltenham for the Stayer's?? Or you wear it well from the week before.

Plenty of good ones to choose from this week if we wanted to nail down 1.

Yes some very good performances this last week. My favourite would be Iroko. Very stylish and professional chasing debut.

I'd agree with that. Iroko was very professional and really attacked his fences (reminded me of the Real Whacker a bit) and posted a debut RPR of 150. I was also impressed by Stay Away Fay. I get the 'boat' assessment by some but I thought he needed the run and showed a lot of guts and determination to win a race that he could have easily threw in the towel. His debut RPR is also decent at 143. Stay Away Fay definitely goes for the BANC according to Nicholls but Iroko's target is less certain ATM (sorry Ista).

              Affordale Fury (NHC) 16-1
              Down Memory Lane (B) 16-1
              Il Est Francais (BA) 25-1
              Tullyhill (AB) 14-1

              Prices Lads.

Ok, I get it that their targets are not set in stone but these are surely their most likely destinations.

Noel has previous with Very Wood winning the 2014 Albert Bartlett and running second in the four miler.

Gordon gave a pretty clear hint it’s just a question of when DML goes up in trip.

IEF’s end of season target is over an extended three miles.

And Willie has said all Tullyhill does is gallop.

Agree re SAF. He's no boat but does look a proper Stayer. He'll come on for the run as well. His win and Gerri Colombe win were remarkably similar.

If we can have any confidence this is the target then I'd suggest he's a solid pick given his current price.
Zero chance he runs before Middle_Of_March selects so price should hold, and until the handicap markets evolve there won't be too many 16/1 shots open to us...

                    I'd like to propose

                    Triumph Hurdle - Bunting @ 12/1
Champion Bumper - On Cloud Wine @ 14/1

for this Yankee, while they're both still double digit prices...

Majborough seems to be the talking horse from Mullins triumph hopefuls. But probably won’t see him on the track for a while if he is the chosen one

Salvador mundi is the one who got the best right up in the RP Stable tour

Even put up as one of Willie's two to follow

…maybe stating the obvious but the Novice Hurdle and Chase picture seems particularly open this year. Plenty of promising runs, plenty of stable tour information yet so difficult to highlight selections. Still lots of guesswork re targets but I suppose it means there should be value out there.

Perhaps we should each pick our idea of the winners of each novice event, or even each race to give MoM something to go on.

I like the affordable fury bet. Did they actually say that il est francais end of year target is over an extended 3ms tho ? That french gold cup is 3m 6f isnt it?.. my personal view is that i'd be avoiding the banc and going to the turners, the banc can end a horses season, its gruelling.

Surely the yankee should consist of the 2 's

Theleme - Stayers (Just wins. Adam the french guy on twitter also posted some times from Auteuil at the weekend showing Theleme posted some pretty impressive numbers on that ground)

Il Est Francais - BANC (he'll be 7/1 tops when he destroys the KS field)

Mahons Way - Bartlett (Really liked his hurdles debut at the weekend, really fair price still for this race and I see him taking the identical route to HDV who also won the same maiden. Can't see him going the Ballymore as he didn't look to possess the tactical turn of foot needed for that race.

Anzadam - Triumph (I actually have a feeling he will become Mullins' best triumph contender. I think its key that the Donnelly's have went out and purchase this lad for Willie, and I still see the case that Mundi will be held back for a novice. If anyone hasn't seen his latest win, I urge you to go watch it. He oozes class the race and wins as easy as he likes beating a fairly well regarded horse of George & Zetterholm.

….saw somebody post the record of UK trainers in the novice chases, maybe a theme for selections this month. 2 x Irish novice hurdlers and 2 x UK novice chasers (or 5 selections for a Canadian).
