      • Get the vibes that Teeshan will be Aintree bound.....

        Teeshan Champion Bumper, 8-1
He had a bit of a reputation because he won his point-to-point so well and the pressure was on going to Exeter for his bumper debut, but he won very nicely. He took a long time to acclimatise when he came to us and hopefully he'll take a decent step forward from Exeter. We've also got Quebecois in the Bumper and I doubt I'd run two in the race. If we didn't run Teeshan, he'd go straight to Aintree instead.

        • Sounds like the decisions already been made, wonder why he won't just say it...

Strange though as if you'd read both of his comments on the 2 of his, you'd be thinking he'd send Teeshan out of the 2 of them :/

I'd say Teeshan is sharper and more forward, whereas Quebecois is a big, strong chaser but still has a huge amount of ability.

Yes it is strange, i cant figure out what the decision rests on, Quebecois sounds like he'd appreciate the extra few weeks to aintree whilst teeshan is more forward.
maybe he sees teeshan as his only realistic winner of either and is waiting on bumper decs to see how weak/strong the race is. The trainers championship is close, potential prize money at cheltenham v definate prize money at aintree.

              • Im trying to get the somerset boarder moved to say Paul trains somewhere other than here. At least Martin Pipe was willing to throw a good one at the race he thought he could win (Gloria Victis GC) springs to mind.

Enjoy Willie Mullins' assessment of his star-studded Cheltenham Festival squad as well as the views of stable jockey Paul Townend and Patrick Mullins.-------...

16m 10sec starts talking about the bumper horses.

                      • Just checked out junta marvel to jog my memory again. Best rpr after two runs is 117, and best price available is 16/1 which is fairly uninspiring.

Form looks decent enough, don't really see any reason for her to shorten dramatically though as I doubt she'd be ahead of you oughta know in the pecking order who's still around 10/1, so not one I'd be in a rush to back, hopefully someone else prices her up around 25/1.

                        • I'd rather back Argento Boy of Willies at a price than Junta Marvel.

Certainly needed it . A bit behind the top 2 based on his debut run but could obviously improve again.

The top 2 being who ?

I don't really rate JDV for all he looked visually impressive, must have been one of the worst bumpers run in IRE this season

Wide open this year, we should at least get 4/1 the field
