    • Jasmin De Vaux declared. And on the Sunday too. Maybe waiting for Patrick to be back home to take the ride?

I'd say that's the correct conclusion.

        • Connell also has high hopes for recent Navan bumper winner William Munny who got the better of Willie Mullins’ well-touted C’est Ta Chance with the pair 12 lengths clear of the rest.

“We always thought he was up to winning a bumper but in the run up to Cheltenham, the big yards are all trying to get qualified so it takes an exceptional horse to win one,” said Connell.

“We’ve given him a lot of time, he’s six now, and I think there could be plenty more to come from him. If you took out the other horse, our horse was a wide-margin winner and would probably be favourite for the Cheltenham bumper.

“We’ll probably give him one more run in a winner’s bumper this year and go novice hurdling next year. The DRF would come too soon. There’s one at Naas we could look at.”

….firms seem to think so, cuts to 7-1 by the looks of it. A bit surprised there wasn’t a WTAF offer for him but another that was highlighted on here in Oct @ 50-1. Post-race comments awaited.

Indeed. Dotted up. Beautiful mover. Patrick really asked him right to the line as well to teach him. He looks very nice.

                    Ditto.

Always nice to see a performance like that and at Naas with the stiff finish.

Like how Patrick rode him right out as well, seemed to have a nice turn of foot when asked.

                    • The talk about him before his PTP was that he was very smart. The 2nd was beaten a similar distance by Petit Secret and Goldinthemountains. He'd love the Cheltenham hill but wouldn't be surprised if he stayed in Ireland this year. Anything said afterwards?

Patrick and Willie have confirmed he’s on the boat. And both were complementary about him too.

Willie Mullins followed up an exotic six-timer yesterday with a neat Naas treble today, completing the feat in the concluding Lengthen The Odds At BetVictor Bumper with impressive Jasmin De Vaux under the champion trainer's son Patrick Mullins.

                            • Let’s be honest. There’s nothing really in this division that gives you wood. Every time something wins or there’s mention of the Cheltenham bumper, they’re given a massive haircut. I can’t back them all FFS. Clear as mud for me. I’ve no bloody idea.

The horse just there shows how dire this year is, the 2nd in the race was beaten 15L by goldinthemountains and 13L by petit secret who haven't gone single figs for the bumper.

God knows what will happen if ADTS and redemption day put the younger brigade away next weekend.
