The plan back in Oct/Nov was to go novice hurdling, he was a NR due to being 'off feed' at DR and hasnt been seen since, and now is entered in a bumper at the DRF, still IMO of course, I'd say there has been some sort of hiccup to change direction

When you make stupid, sarcastic comments like the following....

I think the comment which ignited the argument was “No issue. Just waiting for the better ground. Could turn out to be a good move.”

When someone says “No issue” that sounds quite categoric ie a statement of fact based on some knowledge as does “Just waiting for the better ground”. Had it be said “I haven’t heard about any issue” or “I suspect they’re just waiting for the better ground” then that would be interpreted very differently and wouldn’t have triggered the rest of the debate/conversation.

Let’s not fall out about it but I do think we all need to be careful and should, where necessary, qualify the comment with a “IMO” or something to that effect as explained above. As Darlojim says, people could take the comment at face value and bet or cash-out off the back of it.

Anyhow, hopefully no harm down and we can move on. Please note, my comments are meant to be helpful not continue the debate.

Maughreen is out of a half-sister to Faugheen and arrived at Punchestown on Monday with a lot of confidence behind her and duly obliged. She’s still quite unfurnished and is a filly who will improve but she’s done enough now to go to any racetrack that we want to. I’d imagine her next run would possibly be across the water.
