For anyone who may not have had a chance to see the bumper this eve at Leopardstown, Jalon DOudairies won impressively fending off Redemption Day. Interesting to see the RPRs in a few days time but I think it will be quite good showing. Owned by Gigginstown, Gordon very bullish afterwards in interview, saying he's a proper horse and goes straight to the Champion Bumper with Jack Kennedy booked to ride. Gigginstown not noted for bumper runners so again it adds to the trust Gordon must have in the horse

he was very bullish considering Romeo Coolio is supposedly his best, bit worrying that he's saying jack will ride him coupled with still no entry for Romeo Coolio? It certainly made me think has that niggle that Romeo got not cleared up as quick as expected and now jalon is the number one.

Jalon wouldn't be one for me. Time was very slow. Pace early on was farcical and he was in the best position for the sprint from the front. Not impressed with anything yet for the bumper. Not too late for one of the impressive 4 year old ptp maiden winners in the Autumn to come out and challenge for this.

Think he'll be my first and hopefully last bet in the bumper this year.
Good look to that form yesterday. Time pretty irrelevant in a race of that nature for me.
Gordon name checking the race for one of Gigginstown's, and the stable jockey confirmed riding at this stage, is enough for me. He's clearly considered best in that stable.
