Romeo.....
He’s a horse that has always shown up very well at home and is aiming for the Champion Bumper. He pulled a muscle which slowed us down a little bit. I put myself under a bit of pressure to get a run into him in January and he’ll come on a stone from that. I think he’s a good horse.

The Yellow Clay...
He’s another one for the Champion Bumper and I think he’s flying under the radar. He doesn’t do anything fancy at home and we were planning on going hurdling with him in November, but he got a kick the day before his intended hurdling debut and that delay made us decide to keep him in bumpers for the time being. I think he’ll come on a lot from his run at the Dublin Racing Festival and he shaped really well that day. I think he would have been second with a clear run. It’s wouldn’t shock me if Jack decided to ride him in the Champion Bumper.

He’s going for the Champion Bumper. He’s a nice horse with a good attitude. He wants to win.

Fleur Au Fusil looks the bet here @ 20/1. Unbeaten, going completely under the radar, already ran to to decent level, lovely breeding, gets 7lbs off the lads, trained by Willie, won at the DRF, big price. Just a load of ticks. I like the fact she's had two runs in big fields and has had to pass runners and battle, but when she gets to the front she wants to stay there and has a great attitude. Really think she should be half the price.

But she looks interesting.
Made a mess of this race though overall, but she'd be a good winner for me.

Would she be bigger on the day though? Maughreen will take a lot of the attention, as will whoever Patrick rides; YOK/JDV as will the other. Then you've Gordon's three who will all likely be popular and Teeshan. So she's going to be 8th in the betting at best you'd think. Add to that Willie has loved talking up Audrey Turley's two too. I think you could get close to triple figures between decs and the off.
