What a shame that is.... that turn of foot looked excellent.

Selfishly, quite happy as I completely missed the price but bad for the race.

One that hopefully goes under the radar for next seasons novice races.... (unlikely)

I thought it was the yellow clay that took the eye after that incident a 2/3 furlongs out, to quicken twice was quite impressive.

      • YOK must be one of the best prices still around for the festival, must bet imo

Agree with this - very eye-catching .Shame he's not entered in The Champion Bumper. Maybe the grade 1 bumper at Punchestown or over hurdles instead?

Sorry my mistake - I quickly read it was an early closer so assumed (wrongly) entries had closed.

              • Kevloaf Cantico entered on Sunday in a bumper!

Think this was one your were keen on early doors.

                  Not any more though really

Firefox won the same bumper last year for Gordon, Willie had The Gunner Yeats in it

Hopefully puts in a big performance and books his ticket for the boat but I'm not excited.

                  • Considering the news today about Jeroboam. Jalon Doudairies is weak enough on exchange.

                    • Spoke to Aubrey (son of Luke) McMahon earlier about YOU OUGHTA KNOW - this is what he had to say:

YOK ran a cracker. We were delighted with him, to run a race like that after a break, your never sure coming from two wins in the summer compared to form this time of year but it was nice to see him confirm the level of ability we thought he had and step up to the mark at the DRF. I’d imagine all roads lead to the bumper at Cheltenham for him now.

                      • ….Mullins re Cantico who runs on Sunday;

His form at Christmas was probably very good. I was disappointed he didn’t win on the day, but he was very green and that experience and what we’ve done with him at home since will be of huge benefit to him. I hope he can do the business.

                        • Is it me or does that bumper at Exeter look a tad hot on sunday?

                          • Cantico won that very easy, patrick oozed so much confidence when the Queally horse came to him, another for the boat I'd say

Patrick won't be riding though at a guess, he looked laboured once asked.

Not much response when asked, might be ground related but looks a boat. Down the pecking order you'd imagine.
