Not too late for one of the impressive 4 year old ptp maiden winners in the Autumn to come out and challenge for this.
Would that suit him though? Looks like a stayer to me. Outsprinting Redemption day is impressive isn’t it? Granted the proximity of the 3rd isn’t ideal.

    • Redemption day hadn't run for 18 months and is better on a sounder surface

Good prospect but didn't scream champion bumper winner to me

He's won two bumpers ran at a snail pace by winning the sprint at the end. His debut win was one of the worst times I've seen for a bumper and we've got the Firefox/Ballyburn and Risk Belle 2m hurdle races to compare him with. The race at Leopardstown again was a very slow pace, with a 2 furlong sprint against Redemption Day who travelled keenly and hasn't been seen for 18 months.

Completely different proposition for him at Cheltenham. He could be better for a strong pace but it isn't certain.

        • Some blue for Romeo this evening. Just hoping it’s because of an imminent entry

            • Any news on Soir De Garde? It was entered a few weeks ago but pulled out on the day due to being lame I think.

Not a dickie bird. Last year, he was prominent in Mark Howard's updates but not been mentioned at all in them this year so no idea. He's been same price all this time so could always cash and reback if you have the option.

I can't think of seeing any entries but the 11 length beating of Croke Park still looks very good. Still eligible for the bumper and 16/1 NRMB

The plan was to give him a break, then go novice hurdling when he returns. Be interesting to see if they have a change of heart now and stick to bumpers seeing as how surprisingly weak Willies hand appears to be atm and with the form looking decent. Bring him back for the DRF after winning 2 summers bumpers would give it a very similar profile to A Dream to Share. Certainly can’t see any harm in the NRNB

Nice! A bit naughty of Josh Stacey implying on last weeks LTR that he was a long way from running. He clearly was not in the know. Fair play to Topofthegame / Bo for calling him on it on Twitter.
