Was like he was told to get to the lead if it was a soft one
If it was contested to not get into a duel as they didn't want him having a very hard race
It’s the KG, one of the top races of the season.
I think the horse that was winning Ryanair’s so impressively would have no problem taking it up from the start and going on to win,or at least lead that field for a long way.
It weren’t that good of a renewal imo.
If they had worries that tells me they weren’t sure, and to me that performance and his last run probably means they still aren’t sure.
He’s not as good now imo, just a case of what level he’s now at compared to the rest that line up.
Like I said, we find out in March.
Aye, I think they had some (misplaced imo) concerns about him staying the 3 miles. Which is why he didn't go from the front. Rather than trying to have an easy race. Wouldn't have even run in it if that was the plan surely.
It is the most interesting part though. As he's not run that badly in the KG it was just very un-Allaho like to watch. Which is why people think he's not the same, and do they know that...
I hope he wins. Although I've been concerned about him and SS taking each other on for months also.

He’s won easily over 3m before, why would they be worried about that? Agree with you, misplaced if they were.
He’s looked to have run not badly because he’s close at the finish, but how good was the race?
I just think he would’ve won that a couple of years ago and maybe quiet comfortably.
Clarence House likely Ryanair prep for Fugitif....
“We’ll look at both races but the Clarence House is a strong possibility. I know it’s a step back in trip but he has won a couple of chases over two miles and isn’t lacking in pace. He probably wouldn’t have as hard a race as he possibly would under top weight in the handicap.
“We’ve got to be open to ideas with the Ryanair in mind six weeks after. He loves the track and if we could get placed in the Clarence House then why not? The prize money is very good, he’s the third highest-rated horse in the race and he’ll finish the race off strongly. If it’s a four or five runner race anything can happen.”
The more I think about it, the more Appreciate It is looking the bet. He’s a different horse when allowed to bowl out in front, immeasurably so in my opinion. And now likely to have Townend on board too.
And thank God it was Hills who went 3/1 after Thurles. I’d have taken 3/1 without NRNB to be honest.
