Can't see anything else that'll run to much over 165, so even if he's regressed 10lbs he will still win

Which is why i was happy to take 7s

His first run won't really tell us much as he'll improve 10lb for it at least

His second run will reveal where he is at

He wins they might go king george

But clonmel, Thurles, ryanair and punchestown seems most likely

Unless Jonbon takes him on. 166 currently, could improve also for a step up in trip.

Worth keeping an eye out for the NRNB offers, I know Betfred are usually first off the mark with this around Christmas so hopefully he bombs on reappearance and the market is available before he runs again.
I genuinely think I'd take 3/1 NRNB and probably try getting a fair bit on....

Hed be a very unlikely runner

Has JP ever won the Champion chase?

Definitely be one I'd use as a cornerstone for some doubles at 3/1 nrnb

No and maybe wonders if he missed a golden opportunity in 2015. Could well be on his mind now, we will see.

2 years ago Allaho only beat Janidil 2L on his first start that season (Envoi Allen went off fav)

Enough to put me off any To Win Today and....

                I think

                  I think
From memory Asterion Forlonge was in the process of beating allaho on the snaff before doing what Asterion does and coming down.

which was incredibly annoying as i was banking on allaho losing before getting stuck in for the ryanair that year

                    Bob Olinger at 33/1 anyone?

Bob seems to be in great form. He just wasn’t quite himself last season and we decided to pull stumps with him after his last start in January, give him a long break and look to start back from scratch this season. The intention is to go back over fences with him and we are looking at a conditions chase at Thurles at the end of November as his starting point. Hopefully, we can get him back to where he was a couple of seasons ago.

                      Would be rude not to

Was thinking about it a few weeks ago

Envoi Allen was a world beater until he lost his way
Samco very similar, before winning the turners

not sure whether either of those went off the tracks as bad as Bob. Just looks like there’s something physically wrong with him

33/1 would be way too short for me, would want twice that though

I though Rachael comments on A Plus Tard was really interesting, she appeared to have underlying confidence they had him back. Be interesting to see if they do, and whether the same level of confidence yielded the same results for Bob

If Rach is right then A Plus Tard must be a decent shout for another Betfair Chase win ??
Was 25's the last time I looked.

He seems really well and is working nicely. He’s progressing all the time, but I’m not 100% sure if he’ll make it to the Betfair Chase. We’d like to start him there, but if he’s not as ready as we’d like him to be, we’ll wait for the Savills Chase at Leopardstown’s Christmas meeting. We’ll know where we are with him from his work in the next week or so.

It’s the interview with her and Ruby, with Vanessa

ill rewatch it tonight but she seemed positive on him

Ruby further mentioned “don’t rule him out” on another show/podcast

does make me wonder, and looked at them 25’s for a while
