I’m not sure that horse has the capacity to think. I think of him more as a teenager lacking all impulse control.

    • I keep looking at the Ryanair and asking myself what am I missing. I have concluded that unless Jonbon steps up then Allaho and Envoi Allen are miles clear of anything else that looks like running. And Envoi Allen is still 16/1 with many. I'm going in EW. Feels like I'm stealing money. Something must be amiss.

        I'd agree entirely

Banbridge is the only other one I can see winning but he'd need proper good ground

And still can't really see him beating allaho or envoi

Stage star has zero chance if allaho lines up. His turners win came when getting an easy lead and setting a slow pace.

Allaho will go hard from the front, envoi travelling mid pack. Cheveley park have this sewn up.

        • If Stage Star wins the Paddy Power GC on Saturday then he'll have a slightly better chance of Zero winning the Ryanair. Big ask though off that weight.

Yeah, love those kinds of angles / bets for this race.
Won't be until January but will be looking for the same

Might be a bit of an opportunity on Saturday for today and Ryanair/ any race, if Whacker runs, if odds are tempting

If he wins that carrying 12 stone I don't think any race is the option.

I remember the hysteria on here when Royale Pagaille won that G2 handicap at Haydock off 11-10, getting an RPR of 171. He was almost a cert (believing some on here) for the Gold Cup, ended up getting stuffed in the race, and then stuffed again in the race, and then finally stuffed again in the race last season.

Obvious differences between Royale Pagaille and The Real Whacker, for a start The Real Whacker has Cheltenham form aplenty, but I can see the same hysteria ensuing should be win off 12st.

                    • Something really left field here....very very unlikely but....it would be the story of the week if we saw 3 cheveley parks coming over that last fence together in the ryanair.
It might be a plus tards best chance of a last hurragh.
Not going to happen but it would be some sight.

                        1 - Allaho
                        2 - Envoi Allen
                        3 - Sir Gerhard

A Plus Tard lucky to get 4th

                            • Santini is surely the highest rated horse to have never won a G1 over fences. 172 at his peak. How did he never run in a Betfair?!

Tiger Roll at 171 and Poquelin (lol) at 170 next off the cab rank.

                                Easysland on RPRs, 171.
Went 167 OR after winning a XC race.
