Yea, it rarely goes well when this type comes off the flat... But I still like to see it tried. Think letting him go from the front may be the right decision.

Could win and still get put away for it ... depends what mark he already has (haven't checked)

He has to be one of the highest rated Flat horses to have run over hurdles in many a year surely?? Great to see. Will he get away with pulling like that with Cheltenham undulations though ? If he does and wins punters will be saying what a great price he was !!

Was going to say, it's one thing pulling like a train on a flat track like Huntingdon against seriously inferior opposition but he won't get away with that at Cheltenham, no chance.

Agree. If he does then he's some serious Triumph prospect. For you Betfair guys he's probably a good 'in running' bet.

Agreed, that's why I said it could be over in the first half a mile in the initial post.

Hopefully he goes from the front and settles better, as he seemed to when he got in front last time. Cobden keeping the ride a positive as well, in that regard.

Apparently he doesn't need to go from the front at all haha. He's just a really good race horse.

The mug punters get one over on the shrew French racing experts...

If that doesn't win ride of the season it'll be a robbery

Cobden must have a serious set of hands on him to get that horse to settle

If he learnt to settle and jump he'd win going backwards. Just small 'ifs'... Seriously impressive engine.

That was quite something. Incredible the way he lengthened after the last.

Can get 13-1 Ladbtokes which is worth taking I reckon. I have,
Jumped some hurdles really well, some not so much.
But was very impressive "against what" is the difficulty I suppose.

Likely handicappers but nice performance, onwards and upwards for backers of him at least!
