I meant going away at the line. Which would tell me he isn’t shy of stamina.

I've had that drilled in to me, and couldn't agree more.

I think Lobos is referring to the majority of bookmakers cutting him to 12's last night, that said, it was hardly a 'big move' They cut him 2pts.

….he was 18-1 last night with Lads boost, into 12-1 overnight.

So one bookmaker had him at 16's, it's probably likely they saw the gap and needed to adjust to what other bookmakers were at, the majority were either 14's or 12's (already) though.

Good chance that it was merely the stable tour comments and not an avalanche of money.

The RPR's achieved this season are incredibly low on previous seasons for the French lot, which is one of the reasons I was more inclined to go with Bunting as my main early play in the race. His flat RPR, although not up, but based on what he beat, must have been around the 90 mark. The ones in behind have run up to RPR's of 105 & 85 since then, and he's fairly hammered them. Vauban ran a 74 on debut then finished on 101 (4th run) before switching to Willie. Obviously flat runs do not translate directly to hurdle form as jumping a hurdle is a completely different ball game altogether, but it's certainly a guide, at least for me.
We could get a very interesting line on the French juvenile form as I see Milan Tino is entered up in the Triumph Trial at Cheltenham this weekend. Was third to Jigme and Leon Du Berlais in a grade 2 in October when last seen. Currently looks to be 9lb ahead of next best on RPRs and 11lb ahead of Burnett Road. Could also give the trainer a line through some of his other juveniles in the yard including Master D'Oc who disappointed behind Jigme at the weekend.

I’m sure it wont be lost on Jp and co that their fellas main market rival tomorrow is a muhaarar out of a Galileo mare. Hope he settles a lot better than last time. He’ll certainly need to but If he does it’ll be an interesting contest

                        Saturday I mean

3rd run tomorrow of the season, run here .... not seen again until Boodles?

Or 33/1 for the Triumph outright available

Or 28/1 to win tomororw and the Triumph

So embrassing that the colours make me immediately think it's a handicap plot ....

Aye, I realise it's the trendy ITK thing to rate the French form and Jigme is (or was) a bit of a talking horse... but Burdett Road has a lot of ability as a racehorse. Was ridiculously keen and made a few jumping errors on debut but still won hard held. Got some question marks for sure but also got some potential. Hopefully an interesting watch anyway and not decided in the first half mile.

I get the JP thing but I'd be surprised if he was there with the intention of getting a handicap mark. Although I fully appreciate it he's beaten that's what will be getting said.

Yep only 5 lengths off a classic placed horse (who likely would have gone closer had he not boiled over in the preliminaries). Trouble is he even pulled against group horses on the flat so not sure how much chance there is of getting him to settle over nh pace.
