Seems everyone on the previews is saying he’s a stupid price at odds on, I’d tend to agree but they seem to be relying on Mullins record over the last few years to oppose him which I’m not sure I can get on board with.
And now some podcast types bigging up Ethical Diamond as if Kargese, Majborough, Storm Heart, Bunting and perhaps even Salvador Mundi weren't enough.
Potential shrewdies latching onto the perceived poor Henderson form. Against this Closutton army, maybe a Sir Gino lay is the value option?
It's hard to remain odds on with 6 or 7 Mullins juveniles breathing down your neck.
I cashed a 16-1 voucher on Gino, as I expected the price on or near the day to be bigger and I still think he's got an outstanding chance.
But I also took triple figures (not much money) on Salvator as he's remained in training as far as I know and Mullins has an ego like everyone else and would love to beat the Henderson horse and show the Donnelly's who's boss.
Every chance he may not run still as they've mentioned having little issues, but it's a free hit in the triumph and I think Willie will want him at his best.
Danny looks to be keeping the ride on Kargese who I think is the best of the rest although ethical Diamond and Nurburgring look likely to be suited to the triumph.
So Townend on Salvator would not surprise me. He's the wild card if he runs.
Sir Gino is an absolute stone cold certainty to be the 365 superboost of doom on the Friday…
No doubt
They've got an entire mullins battalion running for them
If this was the flat aidan would be handing out instructions to box sir gino in to help his best one. He'd either be trapped on the inside or forced 5 wide.

Only had the one bet on him but it was a cracker and have cashed him and taken a lovely profit. Very rare for me to do that but he has drifted a fair bit and I don't want to take the risk. Can always back him on the day again if I want to.

I could have cashed as well for a nice profit, still can, but not going to.
Love to get a short priced one at much bigger price running at the festival.
What antepost is all about for me.

But if you know you can cash for profit and back again NRNB or on the day, or with a boosted price, why not do that ?
At least if he gets pulled you've made a profit.
For it not to work out I think a few of those in behind have got to miss the race or Mullins has a bad week, and Henderson really good one.
Might be what antepost is all about, but the absolute worst part of antepost betting is backing a horse at a big price and it's price falling to odds on, only for it to be pulled on the day.
That's a mugs game.

Guess I’m just an old gambler that takes it on the chin when that sort of thing happens
