Kargese wins that race for me. Might see if there is anyone offering match betting against Kala Conti as well as she shouldn't be shorter. Kargese will come on for the run, KC was in optimum position all race off the slow pace and no penalty for Kargese this time.
Storm Heart is far too short at 6/4 so plenty of value in behind.
Should be 3/1 the field that race
Something will have to win easily for me to be thinking sir gino has a proper rival

Kargese would need to continue to mature and relax more, but that move on the home bend after the second last showed she has some engine and will be a threat to Sir Gino IMO.
She was a little flat footed at the last or I think it would have been more impressive.
Confidence aboard Kargese then. Let Highwind and Storm Heart go past too early and came round the bend swinging. Sir Gino will be too good, and I still think Mighty Bandit will be best of the Irish if he even goes the Triumph but she's pretty good.
Huge run from Majborough too. To stay on as he did was very taking. I think there’s big positives to take from that from the front two, although Sir Gino will rightly be a big favourite.
Ethical Diamond in the notebook for next years novice hurdles. Never closer than at the finish.
