Think we’re all pretty sure of this here anyway but in the attheraces season preview yesterday Matt Chapman text Ricci who replied that ‘the intention at the moment is to stay hurdling’ with Gaelic Warrior

12/1 Teahupoo is some of the best value left in the antepost market. Gaelic Warrior could step up & be very hard to beat but both are young enough to still have plenty of improvement in them & GW’s slight tendencies to jump right might cost him at the top table.
I’ve backed both but the price disparity between the two is just to big!

Im a huge Theleme fan.
Winner of the big 3m Auteuil race at the end of last season beating the likes of Klassical dream, porter, Hewick, asterion and others fairly comfortably.
The plan this season is for him to come across for the festival, hes currently 16/1 and that's a huge price in my eyes.

Also he got an awful casual ride from Davy last season & I can’t see Jack having him so far off the pace in future.

He's still definitely better on soft ground though. I'd say it has to be a sub-standard race for him to win, when it actually could be one of the better renewals in recent seasons. It doesn't always play out that way though.
I was discussing with someone yesterday the need to be 100% on the day, no boiling over in the parade ring, calm on the way down, optimum conditions, and luck in running to win a G1 at the Festival. That or just be clear best like Constitution Hill or El Fabiolo.
I'd say Teahupoo needs exactly that to win. He is a bet for my book, but if I was looking for a single winner of the race this far out it wouldn't be him. Of course all those things he needs to be at his best could come right on the day though, and if so he'd be interesting.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.
