Fantastic to have a 125/1 ticket for any race that is still live, but ultimately Monkfish wins nothing, IMO.
That is the one form line you have for him, and Summerville Boy got walloped in the same race last season by Teahupoo getting a fair bit of weight, and even Teahupoo couldn't win the Stayers getting his conditions.
Summerville Boy was also beat LTO in a listed handicap, obviously having to give lumps of weight away but it's not as if it was close, he was 7 lengths behind a 124 rated horse.
I struggle to believe anyone on here actually gives him a chance in the race.

He's done well to win today, that I give him credit for.
I'd rather be backing whatever wins the Cleeve Hurdle tomorrow, over anything that won that Galmoy today,
I can understand, from your perspective, creating a book on the race and therefore having everything or almost everything covered it won't matter, to a degree, which one wins the race, but from a standalone bet I wouldn't be entertaining Monkfish, at all.

Teahupoo won last year with a race under his belt, Monkfish is coming off nearly a year off. He's definitely entitled to come on from that run IMO. Don't quite see why Teahupoo disappointing last year is at all related to Monkfish either. Teahupoo has still never won a race in the spring, Monkfish has loads of spring form.
Not saying he's going to win or anything, but the situations are very very different. I'd definitely give him a chance, looks like another bang average stayers hurdle to me.

….Monkfish;
Patrick Mullins said: “He hasn’t missed any training (this season), we just hadn’t got him out, so we were happy his fitness would hold up. We thought he was a Gold Cup horse once upon a time, but that is a great start to his season and hopefully he can build on it now.
“We were supposed to start him at Tramore on New Year’s Day but he got a little bang, so we decided to wait for this. He is in the Gold Cup and Stayers’ Hurdle but all options are open and it will be a case of what race suits, when he is ready.
“We won’t rush him back and Cheltenham is only seven weeks away, so he’ll probably go straight there. The decision regarding which race he runs in will be a Willie special.
“Ruth Dudfield does a fantastic job in keeping him sound and we’ll just hope he is OK in the morning. Touch wood, at his age, he will stand up to it.”
