We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I suspect Kargesse, Majborough, and Karia Des Blaises will be his main juvenile darts. There'll probably be something else come out of the woodwork too. Willie seems to like more and more juveniles to go to war with, and likes a top dart for the Boodles too.
On a line through Kaid de Ciergues, Karia des Blaises would be a stone behind the likes of Sir Gino and Salvator Mundi, so she might be one to handicap for the Boodles. Kargesse and Majborough are probably the ones to concentrate on, and Bunting too if he gets an entry.

Is there any history of Mullins holding back a JP horse ?
l always believed JP bought his horses to run them as soon as they’re ready…

He’s one I really like. The way he won his AQPS caught the eye at the time and the second has won a Grade 2 race since. I liked that it appears to have been a plan to hold him back rather than it being happenstance too.Last edited by Exar Essay; 4 October 2023, 10:09 PM.

He was a comfortable winner of an AQPS flat race at Vichy (1m 4f: soft) in late May making all and staying on strongly. A length and a quarter scorer from previous winner Jet Blue, it is possible he will be given time to mature and brought back next Autumn as a four year old. Either way, he is one for the notebook. James Reveley remarks: " I rode him at home and liked him a lot. A nice scopey type, I was looking forward to riding him over hurdles before he was sold."

Sorry for the slow response. To answer both BillyMag and Istabraq, I don't have any specific information other than the usual approach.
Both would fit the bill of horses that are either held back, or race very late for experience, but are more likely to place than win so they keep their novice status for next season.
Of the two I'd say Bunting is more likely to run than Salvator Mundi who, I think will be saved for next season.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

Our man has six dark horses to follow this season including new recruits for Willie Mullins, Nicky Henderson, Gordon Elliott and Paul Nicholls.
Found this on Sporting Life - by Mark Howard
Is basically lifted from his book - but this seems to suggest that Bunting will be racing this season and should take high rank
