Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

Bad mistake early but poor ride. Should have had him closer. Not good enough though ultimately.

Very good winner. GC next year.

          • Grey dawning was excellent. Well done and went for the right race, even though I thought 3m+ would suit more.

Have to say the silliest decision was Iroko running. Didn’t think going from a novice to a Cheltenham grade 1 was a sensible play.

            • Someone tell the Irish jockeys you need to be near the front over fences. Same rides they gave their horses last year and let the British horses get away

              • Really do need to be up with the pace this year.

Was like many with my 50/1 slip for Ginnys but Grey Dawning stays well and once his nose went by it was never coming back.

                • Ginny's Destiny ran a cracker. A horse I had fully written off. Bodes well for the handicap jobs later on today.

Probably needed to be closer but if Facile Vega was good enough he could have made up a bit more ground. Mighty Potter at least was closing last year Facile was done and IMO never going to be winning. The first two pretty decent.

Vega just not close to a good enough jumper is he

Huge career best jumping wise for grey dawning

Mental he was still 2/1 in running after 4 or 5 fences

Writing was already on the wall for vega at that point

                      • I’ve come full circle regarding the potato race and landed on one I fancied 9 months ago and another I fancied for last years race.

I like Search For Glory’s progression and he’s really enjoyed a strong run race in tough conditions which he’ll surely get tomorrow. He also surprised me LTO when he won a farce of a race which turned into a sprint. In RPRs he’s achieved a while lot more than some who are near the top of the market. Jack’s record on heavy over hurdles is unbelievable too. Hopefully it gets near that with the overnight rain.

The other is Stellar Story whose form is lacking. On first viewing, I felt he didn’t stay in the Nathaniel Lacy but in second watch, he was done for toe and stayed in very well. If they get at it early, he could really come back to them on that long run in. The new course should really suit.

Both readily available at 40+ on BFX. I’ve made Search For Glory my biggest winner. Stellar Story was already near the top from an early season antepost bet, but he’ll be an in play bet if they do get at it early.

                        • Could we have all 3 novice hurdle winners coming from the same bumper?

Ballyburn and Slade steel have won

                          Just dancing city to go

Literally just been trying to find a fourth leg for a yankee for tomorrow, was mulling over Search For Glory and you've just sold me... cheers

Bunting, Petit Tonerre and Better Days Ahead are the others...

I chucked this up in the related bets thread a while back so I hope so

Actually coming round to Captain Teague though. May end up backing him tomorrow.
