I think that’s the only play imo at this stage Kev, the NRNB Cheltenham Arkle.
I know Q has said the 6/1 Irish Arkle is too big, which it is, only if he turns up. He doesn’t turn up you’ve done your dough.
He turns up and beat he goes Turners or no festival if wildly jumping right. He wins he’s odds on for the Arkle as you’ve said.
Double it with the french horse in the turners and put the max you can on.
Likely money back but possibly a 12-1 double against a real price of around 2-1.

I'm surprised you can keep up with all these different permutations that you've done Q. I'd be completely lost.......and skint !

Not a bad shout at all actually, funds will be getting a top up shortly.
This will give GW time to get shorter for the Irish Arkle if he is running, his Cheltenham Arkle price should remain the same until post race.
I was looking to try to use Tactical Move today to get Nick Rocket onside, based on his run behind him lto. I was shocked at how short Nick Rocket is though. 5/1 top price for the NHC NRNB!
Was 11/4 when I posted this. Very well backed winning fav in the end. Nice boost for Nick Rocket anyway.
I've backed Hermes Allen, though I'm not convinced he's actually that good. That said, the race could cut up and he could well place, but at the same time it wouldn't surprise me if he was unplaced either.
Has to be a concern for GW going left handed, I'm of the opinion Willie won't just rely on him in the race and will have at least one other runner, possibly two, go in it with him.
I still have the feeling Facile Vega will end up in the Turners and will probably beat them both. Madness to stick to 2m having been beat 3 times over the trip now including by the current market leader of the Arkle at last seasons festival.
I've never been a fan of HA but his price drew me in. Yes, he was put in his place at Kempton but I thought he stuck to his task well and at least tried to make a race of it with Il Est Francais
Facile Vega is a strange one. He's been matched at 30.0+ in recent days on the exchange for the Turners but wasn't particularly strong for the Arkle either when I last looked. I think his best chance is in the Arkle where they hopefully get a bit of cut in the ground but he's unlikely to trouble the winner in either race imo, unfortunately.
Im with you Q. I see FV going Arkle. Hotpots get turned over everyday. Who seen the winner of the 2014 Arkle (Horse we cant name) doing the fav? Horses can have an off day,Fall, get taken down,or taken out. Its like football. Its a funny game.
If you look at the list below Gaelic Warrior the next horse you come to who I'm confident will go to the Turners is Hermes Allen. That has to make him the value bet in the race (EW of course).

With NRNB you don't have to be confident about them going to the race you just have to believe they would give Gaelic Warrior a race, and if they don't turn up it's stakes back.

I know it's NRNB but I still hate the thought of loaning money to the enemy. I still have to be pretty sure they'll be going to the race . The NRNB option for me would be covering potential injury, nothing else.

You also need to consider if they'll be a bigger price on the day. Which I think is the case in about 90% of NRNB offers out there!
