And that’s the main point when weighing up his chances.
Hes clearly better right handed, so does the price for whatever race he turns up in, reflect that?
For me, whichever race it is, it’s Cheltenham and it’s always going to be likely that he will face at least one very good opponent that will take ground from him during the race.
Personally, I will see what race he’s finally declared in and then have a look at the opposition and then decide if he’s worth backing or not.

You’d think he’d been pulled up or refused to race twice the way some people talk. Two seconds in any Cheltenham festival race is pretty solid form imo especially one of which being a ballymore!Last edited by Lobos; 25 January 2024, 12:41 PM.

Has to be a concern for GW going left handed, I'm of the opinion Willie won't just rely on him in the race and will have at least one other runner, possibly two, go in it with him.
I still have the feeling Facile Vega will end up in the Turners and will probably beat them both. Madness to stick to 2m having been beat 3 times over the trip now including by the current market leader of the Arkle at last seasons festival.

I don't think anybody has said he shouldn't run at Cheltenham. But that would be a stupid suggestion if they have, and not what the sport needs.
Just for balance...

Hes a very good jumper and imo produced a very good run behind the French star at Kempton.
Think he’s a bit underestimated in the Turners market.

One of those 2nds is worth a lot more than the other though

The 3/1 Gaelic Warrior NRNB is really nagging at me for the Arkle.
He surely won't turn up unless he's walloped Marine Nationale in the Irish Arkle, and if that was the case he's almost certainly fave
If it's close they'd still probably go Turners?
It's most likely money back, or an odds on shot?

I know Q has said the 6/1 Irish Arkle is too big, which it is, only if he turns up. He doesn’t turn up you’ve done your dough.
He turns up and beat he goes Turners or no festival if wildly jumping right. He wins he’s odds on for the Arkle as you’ve said.
