Can’t see it whatsoever.
Looked all the rage to be 3m hurdler, then a 3m chaser then a 2.5 chaser and now possibly take the Arkle crown from Marine at the DRF?
looks to have become a stop gap for Mullins in the division now throwing one last dart at MN in jest.
He’ll get beat but run well and end up in the Turners for the easier race.
On that I think Fact To File and Grangeclare will both run in the BANC.

Boodles - Fresh off a huge layoff, jumped wildly right and threw away his chance.
Ballymore - Held up in a race they went an absolute crawl in (5 or 6 lengths separated the whole field bar the tailed off rag jumping the second last) and became a sprint. Even then he’s stayed on up the hill. We know he’s at his best when going an end to end gallop off the front in races and making it a through test but that day they go no pace whatsoever (IEP over 2m 4f final lap time faster than constitution hills 2n Champion Hurdle tells you all you need to know). The race being ran clearly to benefit IEP who was the stable number 1 in the race.
I’m clearly bias as I max bet him in the Boodles and was on at decent prices last year in the Ballymore. I’ve also spoke about him more than any other horse in history probably. I do think a turners on the new course though will be massively to his strengths. If the French horse doesn’t run, Gaelic Cert goes from a big bet right now antepost to being a max bet for me.

But I wouldn't bank on it.
Gaelic should get a free and easy lead in the Irish arkle so at the odds is definitely a bet for me.

I know I mentioned the idea a while back so may sound like back tracking / fence sitting but... First chase going left handed and against the best 2 mile novice about. Plenty against him and looks a poor antepost price now imo. Wouldn't even be that confident he runs. And even if he did I wouldn't have him much shorter.

I was mainly referring to his antepost price for cheltenham.
He's 12-1 UK arkle.
What price does he go if he did win ?
He's just as talented for sure.
I have several backed in the race so need to cover these possibilities.
I agree that he might not even run in Dublin yet as PP did this to us last year.

6s is probably fair enough to take the chance on the Irish Arkle. I saw the 3s this morning. And say he's 50/50 to turn up then he'd be evens to win the race, which sounds far too short.
The 12s is also fair enough but again requires him to at least run in the Irish version. If he's declared for that then you'd be able to trade for a profit even pre race. If he's not declared at the DRF then the Cheltenham bet is dead straight away.
You'd think they'd be some idea of whether he'll run in the Irish Arkle by now?
I'd back Marine National at evens v Gaelic Warrior at the DRF mind.

What a season Gaelic Warrior has had.
Stayers hurdle tilt, staying chaser with a view to the Gold Cup. Mid distance seems his bag, now potentially dropping down to the minimum
No wonder antepost is so hard these days!
Suppose if he does run you have to credit the horse with being so versatile.
I think Marine is good enough to keep tabs on him. Gaelic will go off in front but if they go too quick on him, his jumping right may become more pronounced. If he does edge right any lead would be reduced with Marines jumping being straight.
Will be interesting either way what they decide to do at the DRF.

I hope the plunge for GW continues would love to see any give in the MN price.

And that’s the main point when weighing up his chances.
Hes clearly better right handed, so does the price for whatever race he turns up in, reflect that?
For me, whichever race it is, it’s Cheltenham and it’s always going to be likely that he will face at least one very good opponent that will take ground from him during the race.
Personally, I will see what race he’s finally declared in and then have a look at the opposition and then decide if he’s worth backing or not.
