Well I weren’t expecting that!!
Fair performance from Spillanes, and I would say much improved from his previous chases.
Going forward I think the front two are both 2 milers, but right now have a lot of work to do to trouble the Arkle fav.
Thought BD was not so good at the fences as he was at Naas, but do think he’s a good one still.

Blood Destiny just isn't a Grade 1 animal. Wasn't as a hurdler and isn't as a chaser. I'm not sure he's even Grade 2 tbh.
The Hunters Yarn boys can take it as a boost on a line through the 2nd to the winner LTO though. One for you Lobos
Djelo be a likely candidate for a place in Arkle or Turners imo Speedy17

Had to back Hunters Yarn off the back of the that from Blood Destiny. Small form line and a lack of decent chasers for Willie.
Fully expecting Facile to go out in trip if beat by Marine Nationale at the DRF.
Il Etait Temps will come back in trip, I'm sure of it.
Be surprised if Blood Destiny will even turn up at the festival. Clearly a decent enough horse first time up but ultimately looking like a handicapper. He's just been beat by one getting weight, that's for certain.

I for one won’t give up on a young horse who has shown me he can jump a fence so well.
Must admit though, right now I would be happy if he’s a non runner at Cheltenham, so I can get my money back!!

Not sure they'll want to take on SAF again in the BANC especially if it comes up Soft. If he wins the Scilly Isles then I'd expect his Turners odds to crash in.

Just think that on Soft they'd not want to get in a real battle with SAF as we know he's as hard as nails. They think G Dawning could be a Gold Cup horse next season so maybe they'll go the Galopin route. The Turners could well be the softer option as well especially with the big doubts around Gaelic. He'll get entered for both races so we won't know until decs time I suspect. If he wins well over 2 1/2m on his next run then that will add weight to the Turners target.

Be interesting to see what RPR he gets maybe near to 160, probably 160 is a little high but late 150s id of thought. We will see but hes a great prospect
The way he jumps he's bound to be 10lb better left handed
My main issue with him is that all his form is on soft ground
And id worry about his jumping in a very competitive race
He doesn't look the most athletic and getting from A to B looks an effort
