I’d be very happy with either as they’re the only Mullins horses I’ve backed for the race. Was toying with Embassy Gardens until his price went

        • Finished work at midday so I am of course drinking and may rethink this but... I don't mind Djelo as a Turners prospect. In the same way I didn't mind Lhomme Presse at one that year he was a non runner and won the BANC

Love the way Djelo jumps a fence so efficiently. And with Venetia's you can ignore the weak hurdle form more than most.

Anyone want to get him added to more markets pls

Why did you come to that conclusion?

            • Inthepocket injured and out of the Xmas race. Not sure how bad the injury is and whether Cheltenham is a miss.

                here is the statement

Frank Berry, racing manager to owner JP McManus, said:

“Inthepocket won't be running on Tuesday. He has had a setback so he won't make Leopardstown. We're not sure how long he'll be out for yet so we'll have to wait and see."

On future plans, George said: “He is a horse with so many different options. The dream this season is to win the French Gold Cup (Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris), as his breeder, who owns half of him with Richard Kelvin-Hughes, did everything he did to keep him trained in France to win a French Gold Cup and that is our main aim this season.

“A French Gold Cup then a King George here next year is very much what we would be thinking, but whether we go to Cheltenham we would have to see.

                          • I don't reckon we'll see him this season at the Festival. Gold Cup next season.

Yes you'd imagine a prep in france for the French gold cup is what they will do

Then look at the king george and Cheltenham gold cup next season

Il est francais vs gaelic warrior in the 2024 king george?
