Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Teahupoo ran to RPR 168 in this last year …and Jack thought he had improved

Lot of Willie’s are needing run …,and even so, he has prob run into 160s

Poss Paul could have kicked on earlier too

So, not a bad start & prob with hindsight put in bit too deep first time in open company

Teahupoo stayers bets look good now - specially if goes straight there

Found a fifty - turners place chance maybe?
Letsbeclearaboutit - surely up in trip banc or NH chase
Sharjah - prob have another go over similar trip then reassess but age could finally be catching up with him.

      • Could potentially see Stay away fay vs Giovinco at sandown on Friday

Will likely be a new favourite for the BANC after that race

        • Sandown looks to be a damn good card
I'd vote for the Fighting Fifth to be ran at Sandown, as a perm fixture!

Yes because the North already has too many of the top races

              That'll be excellent.

Knowing the best of the British and whichever one it is, coming through a test on route can only be a good thing!

              Just, which one

              • The Newcastle fixture isnt great, lets be honest

Too many meets, not enough good horses, not enough good races to go around. Sandown, Newcastle.. dont care.

I think the fighting fifth could help beef up the racecard, like the one at sandown. Shame the Tolworth has been moved. That would be a excellent two day meet. One that may attract more people / more attention

My point being, we need more attractive meetings. Whether thats taking all of the fixtures from Sandown and having a two day meet in Newcastle, or something similar.

Looks the most obvious Turners play other than GW? Still value at prices for trainer who won race last year

You'd have said the same about Stage Star who was pulled up in his Ballymore, and again at Aintree.

Absolutely…if you dismissed Nicholls horses because of previous festival defeats you’d be throwing away a shed load of winners. I can’t be arsed to list them all

Fair point. You have to stick to your rules. You'd have made a lot of money laying Nicholls fancied horses over the last few years. I quite like it when they get talked up.

Yes but this is a chase thread and he has won a Ryanair, a turners, a banc and two queen mums all in the last 10 years. All nice prices and all were beaten at previous festivals. So ignore the hurdlers absolutely but I’d say not so much the chasers…if he pitches up with one in a chase they tend to go ok.

                              • Paul Nolan says SANDOR CLEGANE will have a wind operation and "plans are on hold" for the time being, per
@RacingTV: "We are going to get his wind tweaked a bit. During the race we couldn’t say that we were happy but we still think there is more to come from him. "He was beaten a long way and Flooring Porter hung so badly that you could say he would have been a good second and we’d have been third. I’m hoping that we’ll get things right and that there is more to come from him."
