Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Sharjah is on my radar. I dont see a superstar turning up to the Turners. No Samcro, No Galopin Des Champs.
Facile Vega will run the in the arkle, Mr Traffic warden-man - no good. Gaelic Warrior isnt running in the damn arkle, the same horse who is know for jumping right, the same horse that was 'always crying for a step up in trip'.
I discounted Sharjah's performance, only because he came out earlier and I thought something would eventually come through. There time, but looking at the market... there aint much and I feel Willie has had Sharjah's name down for the Turners since day 1

RPR 152, 150. Decent enough. He hasnt been pushed or asked, then again, not great races. Jumped ok in the main. But ran on soft ground, he'd prefer better spring ground

20/1's still on offer. He isnt going to the BANC. I cant see him going in the Arkle whilst Facile is around.

So yeah, going to back him
I think your onto a winner with the right silks

    • Per @DavidJenningsRP, Willie Mullins on GAELIC WARRIOR:

"He blew me away, that was an extraordinary performance. I'll have to have a good think about it [trip] now. I might even have to come back to two miles with him.

"His method and style of racing suggests to me that we should be thinking of shorter trips rather than longer ones at this point in time in his career.

"I do think when he learns to settle over fences he will be fine over a longer trip. He's enthusiastic at the moment and just seems to love his racing

Willie had time to sit and dwell on this one now, banc looking least likely

Imagine if you love this horse ?
Boodles, Ballymore, Stayers, Banc, Turners, Arkle ?

He could easily become the biggest cliff horse for antepost punters there's ever been.
I know some may have got a pay off in the handicap last year but other than that it's been tough. His SP in that was odds on
Fingers crossed and hopefully not fingers burnt (again)

Looked great the other day though.

I must have recovered about 5% of my lifetime outlay on him from that memorable handicap, delighted with that...

Where’s he gonna run over 2m next time out?

Leopardstown vs. Facile Vega, not a chance. He’s 1/2 for the Faugheen at Limerick over 2m4f and that’s where he’ll go with the bonus of it being a right handed grade 1. Im hoping he settles a lot better in the preliminaries and on the way down to post at Limerick than he did at Punchestown. Quietly confident we won’t see remotely as much exuberance if he does.

And what then, the DRF, so we can see him go left?

That would be the usual route for Willies mid/staying types alright the old Flogas, think it’s called the Ladbrokes now.

If he pulls like a train again & gets beat they might step him back down in trip but I just can’t see it personally.

                  • Gaelic continues to be smashed for the Turners. Drifting like a barge for the BANC.

Another bet for the bin for Gaelic fans then

                      Costly horse to follow

Just can't back him myself until we've seen him jump left handed

We saw with flooring porter what can happen to horses over fences going the wrong way round

A Plus tard was another a stone better going one way round

He's gonna need to be the best horse in the race on ability by 7lbs+ to win going left

Give me a price for the 2024 king george and I'd be interested. That's the race to make money off him i reckon. He will win the durkan then the king george.

Ricci has unfinished business in the race after Vautour getting chinned by cue card.

& ironically has tightened back into 7 on the exchange for the BANC from 10 last night!

Like I said before no point getting too carried away with prices until his next run…

Be careful all across the board I’d say. Happy monitoring anyway Lobos, rather you than me!

Eggs will be looking over his shoulder for someone gunning for his excellent gig on here.
