Same with all the novice hurdles and novice chases really

Poor old State Man...wins the big 2m hurdle at the weekend and not one post on here. He deserves better and I for one would love it if he came out on top in March.

He showed an excellent turn of foot on the weekend

In March CH cruised to victory on the bridle.
For him to have any chance next March, CH has to regress, and no way should we want that imo.
Just enjoy a great champion whilst we can I reckon.

Had a good read through posted on here, especially the one about siding with older horses grade 1'ers who are switching to fences
Sharjah is on my radar. I dont see a superstar turning up to the Turners. No Samcro, No Galopin Des Champs.
Facile Vega will run the in the arkle, Mr Traffic warden-man - no good. Gaelic Warrior isnt running in the damn arkle, the same horse who is know for jumping right, the same horse that was 'always crying for a step up in trip'.
I discounted Sharjah's performance, only because he came out earlier and I thought something would eventually come through. There time, but looking at the market... there aint much and I feel Willie has had Sharjah's name down for the Turners since day 1
RPR 152, 150. Decent enough. He hasnt been pushed or asked, then again, not great races. Jumped ok in the main. But ran on soft ground, he'd prefer better spring ground
20/1's still on offer. He isnt going to the BANC. I cant see him going in the Arkle whilst Facile is around.
So yeah, going to back him
