Just looking through the Irish programmes for beginner chases. Am I right in saying there is now only one beginners chase over 2M between now and mid December for horses that have a high hurdle rating?

I think there used to be one on John Durken day at Punhestown pervious. That now seems to be a 2M3F beginners chase with this years revisions..

archie has always said the novice chase programme in Ireland is extremely restricted, I’m sure he’ll be able to confirm….

Stay Away Fay has done well to get back up there, but he's still not for me. Just reminds me of a boat. Anything with a bit of pace about it will take him on before he has a chance to react.

No doubt would relish the hill at Cheltenham again.

Surely he needs to go from the front, because of how slow he is. I don't think he has the tactical speed to race any other way to be honest.
