Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

        Hopefully that puts to bed any daft Arkle shouts, he's been beating up shite all summer.

        I'd say theres very small chance he will go to Cheltenham and insteaad will head for the Flying Bolt

            Think they need to add a zero on those prices

              • HDS probably good summer novice. I’d not consider him for graded novices at festivals currently.

                • ….Donald McCain re Maximilian;

                  ‘We were delighted with him last season and it was unfortunate he got beat at Aintree. He pulls himself up in front, so we had to sit and wait and the winner just quickened from the front. He’s a lovely horse and we haven’t decided where we are going at the moment. He’s schooled well over fences which I expected knowing where he came from and hurdles are an option. We will decide a little down the line where we go.’

                  (McCain Stable Tour link in the Stable Tour thread).

                    Thanks eggs….we know he is at the very best ambivalent to the festival so I am not holding my breath despite what the jockey may want

                            No 10 year old has ever won the Arkle.

                              • What are peoples thoughts on Il Etait Temps for the Arkle? has a bit of the Duc Des Genievres about him, and not just the fact they're both grey.

                                I appreciate the latter may have won in a weak arkle year, but i like the way IET jumps and he definitely has the stamina require for an arkle. At 20/1 he definitely looks the value out of the proven talented horse from last season.

                                Does anyone know the well being of the horse?
