With the Banc on the old course and the nhc, wouldn't it be a bit easier than 3miles hurdles on the new course?

I will be more beneficial alright good point, I just couldn’t be backing him around Cheltenham on any course over a staying trip, you generally want something that will find plenty for pressure.

I’d just have a niggly doubt about his ability to get home over 3m plus around Cheltenham, he’s come around the home turn swinging in the stayers on a couple of occasions & found very little. Personally think he’s better suited to a flat speed track where he can get others in trouble with his cruising speed & hardly has to come off the bridle at all!

If I was Willie I’d probably avoid the festival & go Leopardstown then Fairyhouse. Unless he has something like the Turners in mind for him…

Yes, he has the potential for one of those to scoop up races at Fairyhouse or even Aintree, against Cheltenham weary opposition.

Yeah i'd agree, might be dangerous going off in turners jumping like that mind, back on the new course

Does Willie have any horses that seem likely to head to the Turners? Seems to have a lot of BANC types and FV looks nailed on for Arkle. I've chanced Klassical Dream for the Turners after today, as others have said does he stay 3 miles well enough? Jumped fantastic today very quick from takeoff to landing and has always been a bit keen. He seems to have more pace than a lot of his other staying novice chasers imo.

Absolutely my thoughts entirely. Keep him to flat RH tracks over 3 and he'll mop up.

I can’t fancy fact to file for anything at festival. Probably make up into a half decent handicap chaser. Not one for me after latest performance.

Interested to see how much Inothewayourthiking has improved from his Chasing debut on Saturday. He's a JP horse so maybe they were minding him a little last time. He could well be the one to put it up to Gaelic Warrior. It's certainly no gimme.

Still have doubts whether Vega goes Arkle. Mister Policeman could have a big say as to where he ends up depending on how he performs over the minimum trip.
