We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Trainer says he could come back in trip! Mentioned Henry VIII. More likely to do that than go up in trip, he says.
That says to me Turners above anything else, because I don't think he's a 2 mile festival horse, he's not bred to be and none of his form suggests 2m either.
Whatever happens, that was a fair debut over fences.

I'd say he might take the more prestigious 2m races over here (Henry VIII and Kingmaker maybe) then step back up. A real shame there's no dipper now as he'd be perfect for that.

When he hasn't gone into a lot of detail it still leaves room for doubt. The way he said "more likely to go down in trip than up after today anyway" could just mean for his next run, as in they might rather not run him over 3m before the festival so if anything he might come back to 2m if it's soft or stay at 2 and a half.
He still mentioned the 3m novice at kempton so he's not ruling it out, and directly after the race when he was clearly excited about the horses debut probably isn't the best time for a definitive answer anyway. And jp will decide anyway depending on where his other runners are fitting in.

What a ridiculous decision it was to remove the dipper
the last two BANC winners won it
Plus had lostintranslation beating defi in it the 1/2 in the turners
Surely the strongest novice chase run in Britain for festival clues
