Bookies will be looking to take him on and rightly so. Cant have him at all but glad he's propping up the market.

      • Away from all the betting angles i would love to see GW in this race, what a spectacle it would be, i wouldn't be able to take my eyes of him and would greatly enhance what was threatening to become a mediocre arkle into something much more.

Yes, I'll definitely be outside watching that one live

          • Who do people have running in the Turners?

I can only see Ginny’s, Iroko, Facile Vega and probably Grey Dawning now.

Zanahiyr, Djelo, Imagine are on my ‘probably’ list too.

                    • Cheers. Does not look a great race at all.

I reckon Sharjah will go there as a back up to Vega if it keeps drying. Willie's only two in the race. He could well be the EW steamer. That'll leave him with Gaelic, IET and Hunters in the Arkle. Seems a really good split to me.

Yep, Gordon did say Zanahayir sticking to fences

                          • Gaelic Warrior and Found A Fifty in the same race going left handed will be one to watch through the fingers. Both horses jump markedly to the right and surely they will just 'encourage' each other to do so even more. With the way Matata jumps markedly to the left then I really hope Jacob isn't lining that up on the outside of the pair... Personally, think the race is primed for an upset with my betting preferences for Matata and Master Chewy e/w at this stage, and that is likely where it will stay.

On the Turners potential runners, I believe Colonel Harry was quoted as being targeted at the race, not that I think he stays the trip well enough.

                              • Just think that PT will set off in front so he'll not see another runner and avoid any trouble.
