Nick & Minella won't run here in the NHC
Think it's been a 2 horse race from a long way out myself with Embassy & Corbett, wouldn't personally have Ziggy at any price.

Can't have that R4H. Ziggy has been very strong in the market over the last few weeks and he's been campaigned like a Gordon Elliot NHC special. His run in the Kerry National is IMO the best bit of form on show here. Embassy has looked very good a real NHC type but Corbetts on the other hand has a bit to prove from where I'm standing. Good race though.

Not sure about that. Ran American Mike close and he has obviously got some top class form. Think it's more the case that there are some nice pots for him to win at home. He's very raw I agree but Willie will be sending worse animals across than him.

The KN run was good for sure won't knock that

I think he's just a handicapper though, the other 2 are potentially proper graded animals.
He rans in 3 graded chases PU, 7/8 and 2nd in a G3. Going into the race after not getting home over 2 5 in America against some desperate horses, I know they've made their excuses but far from ideal. Desperate price for me.
Even Swan was asked about the race he said he would have picked 3CB as the one from Gordons to ride which isn't a encouraging.

Like the profile of the other 2 and they'll have 2 better jockeys on which is a huge advantage. EG been planned for here a long way out as I mentioned pre-christmas so have a decent ticket on him & think CC just has huge potential, they think he has bags of stamina & derek can leave him out the back and pop away at a slower pace.

Can't back them all have to take an opinion on some of them - right or wrong... we'll soon find out

If Willie thinks a horse has a chance he's on the boat, he's sending nearly 70.

The ones he doesn't fancy he keeps at home for pots.

I was surprised that they were 4/1 and Embassy Gardens 2/1 a week or so back and you start getting the fear that you've over egged one (and I have over egged one) ... but even if its misplaced, the shorter CC gets now the happier I feel.

He sent plenty over without chances last year especially in the Novice Chases. Loaded up with 7 in the BANC and Turners and came home with just a 3rd place. Even Willie gets it wrong sometimes.

I’d put quite a lot of stock in the fact Emmet (presumably with JP’s blessing) wanted to train Corbetts for this race. Obviously seen stuff at home that led to the decision. I think Embassy will have his work cut out to beat him.

If it came up very soft I believe the Turners would come back into play as they wouldn't want to get into a slog with SAF who looks an out and out Stayer. What's your thoughts?

JP made his decision it wont change imo
He was always going to split Iroko and FTF
Willie doesn’t want FTF against what he’s going to run now in the Turners , why win 1 race when u have a chance to win 2

SAF won’t see what way he’s gone on any ground imo
