Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

There you go. Ginny's job now way, way easier and Grey Dawning still fav to go BANC according to some. Always a silver lining. It's all mapped out.

                  • Is Monty's Star @5/1 one of the worst odds about?

I genuinely can't see anything to like about the horse at those odds.

Pulled up in the AB last year alongside a whopping 139OR and his chase form is losing to and then reversing form with Threecardbrag who isn't winning a G1 anytime soon.

He has been tipped up by a few of the media pundits. Rory delargy and Kevin blake, might be a few more

He was always likely to be a better chaser than hurdler to be fair, and looked every bit it jumping lto. Always been relatively highly regarded and is with the right connections to think there will be more to come on the day. He's also never been given the opportunity to record too high of a rating as a chaser. But more importantly...

Price is all relative to opposition, and likely final fields at this stage isn't it. He's just about the only other known intended runner apart from Fact to File and Stay Away Fay! I'm sure you'll get a couple of rags but it's going to be a small field.

Actually think the evens NRNB for 3 places is a very good bet...

I’d say Fact To File at 6/4 in places is a lot worse! At least 5/1 would appeal to each way players and as Dinlinja has said above his price has crashed after a couple tips, was 12/1 antepost and 11/1 nrnb before the drop in price recently.

I like all 3 that are intended runners and fancied all 3 to fight the finish, can’t remember where I posted it. Even more so now 6 weeks later and a likely smaller field than I initially thought.

                          • Aside from FTF, SAF and Monty’s Star, what actually is confirmed for the RSA? Grey Dawning may divert to the Turners and has been heavily backed. Looking down the list of runners, I can’t see many that might run.

                            • I'd expect Mullins would run at least one of his others.
                              Elliott might run something also.
And then it's whether connections of horses like Broadway Boy and Giovinco/Apples fancy running, and possibly even Sandor Clegane, especially if they don't like the mark he gets.

But it looks like 5/6 runners realistically.

Sandor clegane only entry at the festival so presumably a runner unless they saving for Irish national ?
