    I'm done.

Someone has just stuck up 100 to back at 9.4 though. 840 liability... On a horse that was trading 4s and below recently. Not a positive that.

No, that's a bigger red flag for sure.

      • Shame really if he's out. Was a false fav imo and was keeping the prices good on horses with better chances.

        • FYI all - Emmet Mullins in the Post after Corbetts Cross today:

"He seems okay. He has a few bumps and bruises but seems none the worse. We can't really say at the moment whether he is still on for Cheltenham until he cools down."

I'm on Montys side. He's following the Monalee and Minella Indo route....... hopefully to glory.

            • Great night of Exchange action we're having....Flooring Porter out to 75 on the lay side in NH chase and being backed in for Stayers!

              • Yeah, I'm adding Monty to the book
I still have F2F, SAF and Grey ahead of him, but.... he could be the one to improve on the day and can see him being shorter

                • All this talk about Marine Nationale seems very irrational.
Kevin floaty hair was basically writing him off the other day. Like he was on his death bed.

He's ran one bad race in his life.

Yes, he's had a wind operation but some trainers give every horse an op and often multiple times, it's far from uncommon and actually par for the course and basically a quick win in most instances to make then run faster. They'd take their fucking tongues out if they thought it'd let them get more air in.
Wearing a Funnel is illegal or they'd do that as well.

But everyone and his dog is convinced it was a wind issue that caused the bad run when it could be dozens of other reasons. Horses run below form every day and more often than not it's unexplained.

People saying shit like his head is in the air looking for oxygen is absolute shite, as his head carriage is no different to when he won the supreme.

He is a risk as a betting proposition but the price might get attractive.
I'd be willing to forgive myself.

If I was Barry and I did find something that may have been the cause, I'd fucking tell no one and do my bollocks on him for the arkle.

                    • Who’s going to be Townend’s mount now?

I still think they’ll send their best chance for the NHC to that race be that Embassy Gardens or Nick Rockett. The other will end up here.

I think Minella Cocooner is too free for an NHC and he’ll come here. But is he good enough to give Townend a good spin in the RSA?

Then there’s Gaelic Warrior. Could he come full circle? The two runs of his with which I was most impressed were Limerick in the Faugheen and the 3m Novice Hurdle at Punchestown last year. Both times, he settled and wasn’t as free, although he was still a front runner at Limerick. I think he may be more tractable than some give him credit for. But LH on a tight course …

Was a very heavy fall. I've backed him but am not that hopeful that he'll travel.

I do like the angle - who will Paul ride. But couldnt be backing GW for this, he was keen the other day, and had a very hard race. Find it difficult to be seeing him come back in the time available to run in the BANC.

Could Facile step up this far? Unlikley... but I may take a quick look to see if there's any value elsewhere

                          • He'll ride The Rockett after he smashes a good field in the Ten Up. IMO Patrick has already claimed the ride on Embassy for the NHC. Looks made for that race.
